RICK ROSS may have been involved in shooting!

January 28th, 2013 | By love not hate

Fort Lauderdale Police are investigating after a shooting led to a Rolls Royce crashing into an apartment building early Monday.

Police officials say shots were fired around 5 a.m. in the area of Southeast 15th Avenue and E. Las Olas Boulevard

The Rolls Royce was traveling eastbound on Las Olas when another vehicle opened fire on it, police said.

When the Rolls tried to get away, it crashed into the building at 311 Southeast 15th Avenue. Neither of the two people inside were injured, police said.

Police are still looking for the gunman or gunmen.

The names of the victims inside the Rolls weren't being released because they're in fear for their lives, police said. Witnesses said rapper Rick Ross was inside the Rolls.

No other details were immediately known.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Authorities are investigating allegations that Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown assaulted a man in a West Hollywood parking lot.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to a report Sunday night of six men fighting.

Witnesses told deputies that the brief fight was over a parking space.

The department says the “altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.”

The “victim” wasn’t identified but the celebrity website TMZ, which first reported the incident outside a recording studio, says the fight also involved Frank Ocean, a nominee in the upcoming Grammy Awards. He later tweeted that he “got jumped by (Brown) and a couple guys” and suffered a finger cut.

The department says it will contact Brown later.

Brown’s attack on singer Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy awards overshadowed the show. He was injured in a June 2012 brawl with members of hip-hop star Drake’s entourage at a New York nightclub.

Leonardo DiCaprio DANCES TO KANYE WEST

January 18th, 2013 | By love not hate

                        Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio may have lost the Golden Globe for his role inDjango Unchained, but that didn’t stop the actor from enjoying himself a few nights later.

Alongside best friend Lukas Haas, DiCaprio visited West Hollywood hot spot Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night.

Donning a newsboy hat, DiCaprio mingled with club promoters, while Haas did “his own thing,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “Leo hung back and sat on top of the banquette. He was getting a ton of attention from the ladies.”

The usually quiet DiCaprio was “upbeat” and “even danced and clapped along” as music from Jay-Z and Kanye West played. And when the actor was approached by other clubgoers, he was “very gracious and chatted with them for a few minutes,” the source adds.

Once the lights came on, the two friends reconvened to figure out their plans for the rest of the night.

NICKI MINAJ WILL NEVER FORGET DUBAI!

December 31st, 2012 | By love not hate

Award winning rapper, singer and song writer Nicki Minaj said this week she will never forget Dubai, the city where she performed last week in her debut concert in the UAE.

Playing on the name of her songs, she said the Dubai performance to be one of her “moments for life.”

Nicki performed at the Dubai Meydan Racecourse, where an audience comprising of the young to the old arrived on Friday to watch the singer, who has become known for monopolizing a male-dominated industry – rap.

The star told the press about how she much enjoyed the audience, and her love for Dubai.

“I really wish I could just hug them and stuff,” she said “They were so cute and so much fun. This is one of my moments for life, like I will never forget it. I will never forget my first time in Dubai and I would love to thank them for allowing me to experience this moment,” she told Gulf News.

The audience and critics were surprised however when Nicki stepped on the stage, donning a more conservative, covered choice of attire than what she usually wears in live concerts around other parts of the world.

Stepping on stage, Nicki shouted out a message to her audience: “Do not drop out of school and do not give your cookies out to every Tom, Dick and Harry. I am so proud of each and every one of you.”

Nicki later went performed her smash hits “Moment for life,” then “Bottoms up” and “Super Bass.”
