As we told you … Wayne is suing Quincy Jones IIIover a documentary about the rapper that he calls a “scandalous portrayal.”Wayne was not in court today because of his medical emergency on Thursday on board a private jet. The pilot radioed Wayne had seizures and he was subsequently hospitalized.
Wayne’s lawyer told the judge he will play Wayne’s deposition tapes for the jury, but there will be NO Wayne in person. But that’s a huge problem because the tapes — which TMZ posted last month — show Wayne acting like a child, giving glib one liners and refusing to answer questions.
Would you believe 108-year-old South Carolina resident Joanna Jenkins is casting her vote for the first time this election.
Whoa! How you feel ’bout that Miss Joanna?
“I feel good!” exclaimed the centenarian
Jenkins can’t read or write, nor does she have a state-issued ID. But that didn’t stop her from getting to the polls.
With the help of her doctor and the Beaufort County Board of Elections, Joanna is now registered as an absentee voter.
“She’s just excited. She wants to vote this year. We were looking at the elections, and as the debate were going on, she decided — say, ‘I want to vote’ all of a sudden. She just want to vote. She just decided that she want to vote. She’s excited to vote,” said her cousin, Shirley Lee.
Of course everyone wants to know who is Joanna voting for?
“Obama! Obama!” said Joanna.
Watch this report for more of Joanna Jenkins’ story:
So the gay kappa wedding getting all this negative feedback why because they in a fraternity. When I look back to my college days I always saw people who joined them as people who was going through identity crisis or not feeling important enough so they wanted to be apart of something that they thought was important. When I look at my friends over 80% of them are gay and still represent their sisterhood and brotherhood. That was a time in ur lives when u felt like that was more important.. Now you are older and at a point in life where others opinions dont matter or u still hidibg behind some letters…. #truthbetold This does not apply to all sororities or fraternites. Its called be u and dont let people or letters determine ur life standards…

Amanda Clayton (pictured), the $1 million Michigan Lottery winner who continued to collect food stamps after her big payday, was found dead from a possible drug overdose on Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Scroll to bottom for video
Friends found Clayton lying in bed holding her one and a half year old daughter, according to WXYZ-TV. Results from an autopsy are pending.
The Lincoln Park, Mich., woman drew national attention for collecting food stamp benefits after winning the state lottery’s $1-million “Make Me Rich!” game show. She shot back at critics, arguing that she was entitled to the benefits because she needed the money.
State Attorney General Bill Schuette charged Clayton with felony welfare fraud, and she was sentenced to nine months of probation in late July, according to the Free Press. She was also ordered to repay the $5,500 in food stamp and medical assistance she received after winning the lottery money.
WXYZ-TV spoke to her boyfriend and this is what he had to say:
When she went to a home in Ecorse on Friday night to see her kids, 25-year-old Amanda Clayton appeared confused said her friend’s boyfriend.
“She was already in a bad stage. Her legs were shaking. You know she was going through her prayers. She was eating food with the kids,” said the friend’s boyfriend who did not want to be identified. He said they were babysitting Amanda’s daughter and young son. It was Amanda’s daughter who couldn’t wake her up.
“She was right next to her sleeping. They were watching movie together. She started crying. And that’s when Rachel walked in and she tried to see what was going on and she flipped her and she was gone,” he said.
Michigan state law requires that anyone on public assistance report changes in their income within ten days. Clayton, 25, was on public assistance from 2010 to 2012, despite having a job for four months in 2011. It is not clear if her benefits would have been taken away had she reported her employment status.
Clayton’s grieving boyfriend told WXYZ-TV that the attention that came with winning $1 million took its toll on her.
“What’s $5,500? She paid it off. She paid the money off,” he said. He added that she was tormented by the fame and problems that came with winning the lottery.
”So many people tried to take advantage of her, act like they are her friends just to get some money from her. It gets to the point where you start questioning yourself. Are they really my friends or are they using me?” he said. “What’s the point of having money if you’re not going to have happiness?”
The boyfriend says that Clayton gave away most of her money and set up college funds for her children. He says she only had $67,000 left at the time of her death.

Beyonce’s baby–no, not Blue Ivy–has had a chic rebirth. Queen Bey has House of Dereon’s Fall collection is slowly making its debut and it’s obvious, Beyonce’s coming for every ready-to-wear designer out there. Something tells me Solange had something to do with the breath of fresh air that was breathed into House of Dereon. It has effortlesslytrendy written all over it.
I’ve always been the biggest Dereon critic, twisting my mouth into a snarl while turning my nose up in disgust at the two seams away from Baby Phat clothing. But not this time!
Beyonce’s House of Dereon Fall 2012 collection is, in a word…fierce! Leopard chiffon skirts with slits up to here, structured dresses with cutouts and high-waisted printed pants. I am 100% sold. So was Bey because she’s the only one modeling the collection in the campaign. Check out some of the standout pieces below!

Legendary singer, Gladys Knight appeared on “The Talk” and weighed in on the Jackson family drama.Gladys is old school and said Paris needs to respect her elders:
“If [Paris] called me that, she would have no teeth … That’s how we were brought up. You respect your elders.”
She told the audience of “The Talk.”
“It’s drama, that’s what it is. If you lived up under the microscope as this family does, everybody has dysfunctionality in their families, either one way or the other. See, I’m from the south and [we] was raised in that southern way. You have to understand Paris is what, 14? How old is Janet? Who’s the one who tries to direct the other one here? And I would think that it’s a good thing she let’s Paris know who she is. She is a Jackson, she shouldn’t be putting the business out there like that. Cause people read into whatever they want to read into, that’s how they get the drama. So, she’s just trying to protect her, in a way. But if she [Paris] called me that, she wouldn’t have any teeth…You respect your elders.
Take a look:
Do you agree with Gladys?
Katherine Jackson is challenging the court ruling that temporarily stripped her of guardianship of Michael Jackson‘s children — and claiming she never wanted TJ Jackson to step into the role … despite court documents stating otherwise.
In a taped segment for ABC’s “Nightline” … Katherine read prepared comments from a notebook, and said — “Their ruling in court today was about the guardianship, and I think it was based on a bunch of lies. But I have a good idea who’s doing that … who’s behind it.”
Katherine went on to say she spoke to TJ last night and “told him it wasn’t necessary for him to go down and sign up for guardianship, but I don’t know who instructed him to do that … ’cause he wanted me to come home before that happened.”
It’s a strange statement because Katherine seems to be acknowledging she knew TJ was going to file for guardianship … but not before she got home.
In fact, as we reported earlier, TJ stated in court docs that Katherine “supported” him taking steps to protect Michael’s kids.
The whole TV segment seemed almost like a hostage situation as Katherine was surrounded by Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie, Rebbie’s daughter and, for some reason, the marketing director for the Tucson spa where Katherine’s been for more than a week. A local news reporter was in the room, but was not allowed to ask questions.
As for leaving Prince, Paris, and Blanket alone in L.A. — Katherine claimed she left instructions about who was to take care of them while she was gone … though she didn’t name anyone specifically.
The 82-year old also said during her absence her assistant had been keeping in touch with her grandchildren — and that she didn’t personally call “because I just gave up my phone. I didn’t want to have any phone calls.”
The shooting of moviegoers in Colorado “reminds us all of the ways that we are united as one American family,” President Barack Obama said Friday in remarks mourning the victims of the overnight massacre.
Speaking in Florida, where he cut short a campaign trip, the president led a crowd in a moment of silence and called for Americans to reflect on what he called a senseless act of violence.
“Even as we learn how this happened and who’s responsible, we may never understand what leads anybody to terrorize their fellow human beings like this,” Obama said. “If there’s anything to take away from this tragedy it’s the reminder that life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and precious.”
The presidential campaign was essentially put on hold after a gunman waged an assault on viewers of a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colorado.
Obama canceled a planned campaign stop for later Friday in Florida to return to the White House; Vice President Joe Biden and first lady Michelle Obama also canceled political events set for Friday afternoon. The Romney campaign canceled a planned series of radio interviews this afternoon.
“I am so moved by your support, but there are going to be other days for politics. This, I think, is a day for prayer and reflection,” the president told supporters.
Additionally, the both the Romney and Obama campaigns put a hold on airing political ads on television on Colorado for at least the weekend.
Romney was set to address the shooting at an afternoon event in New Hampshire.
Details from the shooting were still emerging as of late Friday morning, but White House press secretary Jay Carney said that the president was first notified of the shooting at 5:26 a.m. ET by John Brennan, his homeland security adviser. Obama called the mayor of Aurora later in the morning, and received a follow-up briefing from Brennan, White House chief of staff Jack Lew, and FBI Director Robert Mueller.
“The president orders that his administration do everything that it can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time,” Carney said in a gaggle aboard Air Force One.
Most political reaction revolved around expressing sympathies for the victims of the shooting.
“I am stunned and furious at the news of the shooting at the Aurora Century 16 Movie theatre this morning,” said Democratic Colorado Rep. Ed Perlmutter, whose district includes the site of the crime. “Colorado is not a violent place, but we have some violent people. We are a strong and resilient community, and we will lean on each other in the days, weeks and months to come.”
Few elected officials touched on the impact of the Colorado shootings on the long-simmering debate about gun control laws.
“I would say as you know the president believes we need to take common sense measures that protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans while ensuring that those who should not have guns under existing laws do not get them,” Carney said when asked about the impact of the shooting on the gun debate. “We’re making progress in that regard in terms of improving the volume and quality of information on background checks, but I have nothing additional on that for you. This is obviously a recent event.”
One of the few exceptions to that came from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a longtime advocate for stricter gun laws.
“You know, soothing words are nice, but maybe it’s time that the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they are going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country,” Bloomberg said on WOR Radio in New York. “No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment, no matter where you stand on guns, we have a right to hear from both of them concretely, not just in generalities — specifically, what are they going to do about guns?”

Tamia Hill’s multi-faceted interests make her a dynamic and modern woman to be admired. On top of multiple Grammy nominations and awards, she is also the devoted wife to NBA star Grant Hill, the mother of two beautiful girls, an art collector, and an investor.
With so much on her plate, it’s hard to imagine how Tamia ever has time to stop and enjoy life, but she manages to juggle a successful singing career, family time and outside investments with a remarkable sense of poise and grace.
Tamia is currently in the studio working on her fifth album with an array of songwriters and producers such as Claude Kelly, Karma Productions, Bryan Michael Cox and more.
Investing her own money, without waiting for anyone to propose a new album, Tamia created her very own record label, Plus One Music Group. Tamia has finally been able to make music she wants to create and represent the “real” Tamia. She has involved herself in every aspect of this project, putting forth an album that truly is personal and soulful.
I’m always going to be that little 6 year-old singing into her brush with her mom yelling, “Tamia, please stop!” Music is just a part of me and everything I do, every step that I take. I am still thankful and amazed because I still see myself as that little girl with a brush.

We all know Beyonce loves her man. She’s even been quoted as saying “I’ve always been a Jay-Z groupie.” If that’s not true love, we don’t know what is.
Currently overseas checking out her man’s closing Watch The Throne Tour stop in Birmingahm, UK (where she was photo’d with Kim Kardashian) Beyonce proved she was up for a second round, as she was spotted getting down in the audience as Jay hit the stage with Rihanna for the opening day of BBC’s Radio 1 Hackney Weekend (aka #R1Hackney for those of you up on your trending topics.)
Although Rihanna is slated to headline tomorrow’s show, she shared the stage with Jay-Z who kicked off the weekend of performances with Kanye by his side. With hugs and plenty of Roc signs to go around, the pair had Beyonce moshing hard in the crowd. Seriously, Beyonce was moshing.
Nicki Minaj, M.I.A and Ed Sheeran also took the stage today. Rita Ora, Florence + the Machine, Nas, Calvin Harris, Lana del Rey and dozens of others will also be performing this weekend.
Check out Beyonce moshing in the crowd followed by Jay bringing Kanye out on stage
While Drake and his crew might be having their honesty questioned of late, 2 Chainz is gonna keep it moving releasing the new video to his track “No Lie” featuring Drizzy.
If you need a refresher, this is the song where Drake dropped the lines about “treating a Grammy winner like a nominee” that some took as a Rihanna swipe and lead to Twitter beef with Chris Brown.
Watch it below and let us know if you think it’s hot or not. Don’t lie.
