Guy who car jacked Bobby V. has been arrested

Police have identified one of two men accused in the armed carjacking of R&B singer Bobby V in Midtown Atlanta Tuesday night.

Robert Unrico McFarland, 18, was arrested Tuesday shortly after the carjacking. Police said he was one of two armed robbers who approached singer Robert Wilson — known as Bobby V — after he parked a red 2013 Bentley in a lot outside the Hot Beats Recording Studio at 1200 Spring Street Tuesday night. Police say Wilson complied with the men and they drove away in the car.

An off-duty lieutenant heard a call over police radio about the incident and found the luxury car abandoned nearby at the Arts Center MARTA station, according to police spokesman Greg Lyon.

Authorities say Wilson and witnesses identified McFarland as a suspect and he was taken into custody.

The swooner is known for his big hit “Slow Down” in 2005, and other notable tunes such as “Lights Down Low,” “Come Touch Me” and “One Girl To Love.”

Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call (404) 658-6636 or Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.

BREAKING NEWS: Private Investigator Says Whitney Houston Was Murdered

Whitney Houston was murdered and new evidence – caught on video – proves it, says a top Hollywood private investigator who is turning all of his material over to the FBI, according to a new report.

Paul Huebl also says the superstar singer’s killers are caught on tape. “I have evidence that points to Whitney being a victim of a high powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs,” Huebl says in the new issue of the National Enquirer, which broke the story.

Using a network of drug informants and taking another look at the coroner’s report, the PI has pieced together evidence that he’s turning over to the Chicago field office of the FBI, hoping a fresh look from the outside will bring the truth to light.

Huebl points to two unknown men who kept showing up at the Beverly Hills Hilton, where Houston was staying, and blending in with her group of hangers on.

The day before her death Whitney received a cocaine delivery but was later heard to say, “I’m tired of this sh*t.” The PI says she was referring to being tired of harassed to pay her drug debt, which had reached $1.5 million.

On the day she died, Whitney was left alone in her hotel room for 45 minutes and that’s when one or both of the killers slipped into her room and were captured on surveillance video.

As for the coroner’s report that says no foul play was involved in Whitney’s death, the investigator, who has reviewed it thoroughly, strongly disagrees.

“Whitney’s body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life,” he told the Enquirer.

Huebl details those injuries and the evidence he says points to a struggle occurring during the last minutes of the singing superstar’s life in her hotel room and bathroom.

Pastor Refuses To Back Down From Same-Sex Marriage ‘Death’ Remarks

A Maryland pastor who invoked a Bible quote saying homosexuals are “worthy of death” at a Maryland Marriage Alliance meeting is standing by his comments.

“That’s not my words,” said Reverend Robert Anderson (pictured) of the Colonial Baptist Church in Randallstown, Md., according to NBC Washington 4. “That’s from Romans Chapter 1 written by the Apostle Paul himself.”

Speaking against Question 6 on Maryland’s ballot last week, Anderson said that “’knowing the righteous judgment of God that those who practice such things are deserving of death. Not only do the same’ – but watch this – ‘for those who also approve of those who practice these things.’ If we don’t vote against it, then we are approving these things that are worthy of death.”

The Marylanders For Marriage Equality, who support the bil, denounced Anderson’s comments. “We really think that it was very inappropriate for the Maryland Marriage Alliance to hold a panel where they used the words ‘worthy of death’ to describe gay and lesbian couples,” said Sultan Shakir, a member of the group.

Anderson argues that his comments are being taken out of context.

“Worthy of death in that they are promoting the lifestyle and they are promoting what same-sex marriage is all about, and that is what we’re standing against,” he said.

@EvelynLozada: I Want No-Contact Order With Chad @ochocinco To End

Evelyn Lozada wants her no-contact order against Chad Johnson to expire, TMZ reports.

The ex-NFL star and former husband to Lozada is on track to finish his batterer’s intervention program in a few months. Johnson is expected to ask the judge to end his probation and end the no-contact order against him during this time.

If the judge grants him these requests, Lozada will have to file for a civil restraining order against him. But TMZ reports that she has no interest in doing so because she wants to “move on.”

Johnson pleaded “no contest” to domestic battery following his Aug. 11 fight with Lozada. He was sentenced to a year of probation and the batterer’s class as part of the plea.

Despite Lozada’s desire to end the no-contact order, she has no desire to get back with Johnson.

It is too bad that Chad and Evelyn’s marriage ended so quickly–and violently. But, do you feel Chad can learn from his mistakes and become a better husband to a different woman?

Husband Divorces, Sues Wife For Having ‘Ugly’ Baby

Divorce is never pretty. But rarely are divorce cases as ugly as this: A  husband divorced and sued his wife for having an ugly baby. Northern China  resident Jian Feng allegedly married his wife and was “absolutely in  love with her.” Soon, the couple became pregnant. That’s when the trouble  began.

Upon the baby’s birth, Feng noticed that the baby was … ugly. So ugly, in  fact, that Feng couldn’t believe that the little girl he was seeing came from  the beautiful woman he married. He reportedly accused his wife of adultery,  since the baby looked nothing like either of her parents. He insisted that his  wife tell him who the real father of the ugly baby was.

The wife insisted that the baby did look like her. Or at least, what she used  to look like.

Feng’s wife admitted to having over $100,000 worth of intensive plastic  surgery before she met and married him. The surgery completely altered the way  that she appeared. Obviously, her genes were passed on to her baby girl, but not  the genes that Feng was expecting … or wanted.

According to The Stir, Feng divorced his wife, then sued her  for lying to him about her previous looks and surgeries. Feng won the court  case, taking home a settlement of $120,000.

Rick Ross & Jeezy fight Video

The fight between Young Jeezy and Rick Ross at the BET Hip-Hop Awards was all caught on tape. According to TMZ.com, the video shows a brief scuffle between several people before security and police break up the fight. Security then stands between two groups of men as they yell back-and-forth. Rick Ross is then escorted from the fight area, but someone goes after him yelling. Security is quick to act and stop the man before he is able to get to Ross. The fight reportedly broke out Saturday night at the taping of the BET Awards in Atlanta. Atlanta Police have said that no one was injured during the fight and no arrests were made.

Mich. Lotto Winner Accused Of Food Stamp Fraud Found Dead

Amanda Clayton (pictured), the $1 million Michigan Lottery winner who continued to collect food stamps after her big payday, was found dead from a possible drug overdose on Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Friends found Clayton lying in bed holding her one and a half year old daughter, according to WXYZ-TV. Results from an autopsy are pending.

The Lincoln Park, Mich., woman drew national attention for collecting food stamp benefits after winning the state lottery’s $1-million “Make Me Rich!” game show. She shot back at critics, arguing that she was entitled to the benefits because she needed the money.

State Attorney General Bill Schuette charged Clayton with felony welfare fraud, and she was sentenced to nine months of probation in late July, according to the Free Press. She was also ordered to repay the $5,500 in food stamp and medical assistance she received after winning the lottery money.

WXYZ-TV spoke to her boyfriend and this is what he had to say:

When she went to a home in Ecorse on Friday night to see her kids, 25-year-old Amanda Clayton appeared confused said her friend’s boyfriend.

“She was already in a bad stage.  Her legs were shaking.  You know she was going through her prayers.  She was eating food with the kids,” said the friend’s boyfriend who did not want to be identified.  He said they were babysitting Amanda’s daughter and young son.  It was Amanda’s daughter who couldn’t wake her up.

“She was right next to her sleeping.  They were watching movie together. She started crying.  And that’s when Rachel walked in and she tried to see what was going on and she flipped her and she was gone,” he said.

Michigan state law requires that anyone on public assistance report changes in their income within ten days. Clayton, 25, was on public assistance from 2010 to 2012, despite having a job for four months in 2011. It is not clear if her benefits would have been taken away had she reported her employment status.

Clayton’s grieving boyfriend told WXYZ-TV that the attention that came with winning $1 million took its toll on her.

“What’s $5,500? She paid it off.  She paid the money off,” he said. He added that she was tormented by the fame and problems that came with winning the lottery.

”So many people tried to take advantage of her, act like they are her friends just to get some money from her.  It gets to the point where you start questioning yourself.  Are they really my friends or are they using me?” he said.  “What’s the point of having money if you’re not going to have happiness?”

The boyfriend says that Clayton gave away most of her money and set up college funds for her children. He says she only had $67,000 left at the time of her death.

SMH! Sherman Hemsley Still Not Buried

Sherman Hemsley who died over a month ago has not been laid to rest as his family fights over his will. The embalmed body of the actor is being kept refrigerated in a funeral home in El Paso, Texas until the local court decides on the validity of his will.

Richard Thornton, who claims he is Hemsley’s brother, is disputing a will the actor signed six weeks prior to his death from lung cancer at age 74 on July 24. Hemsley named Flora Enchinton as sole beneficiary of his estate valued at more than $50,000. Hemsley also refers to Enchinton as a “beloved partner.”

Enchinton says she had been friends with Hemsley and had even been his manager for more than two decades. During this time she lived with Hemsley and Hemsley’s friend Kenny Johnston, 76. Enchinton tells AP Hemsley never mentioned any relatives.

This is so disrespectful! Can someone please put this man to rest. And discuss that stuff later.

Why is LeBron James’ New Nike Shoes $315.00

Since the late-80s, Nike has been trying to tell America that guys like Michael Jordan and LeBron James are awesome at basketball because of their footwear. And America has bought it (literally).

People have forked over up to $250 bucks for sneakers named after NBA stars. But now, if you want the latest LeBrons, which are set to debut this fall, you’re going to have to lay down $315 to get them.

So, once again, thanks to Nike, you may not be able to play like an NBA star when you buy their shoes, but you’ll certainly be spending like one.

Industry people say that the rise in price is due rise in labor, materials and shipping costs (them sweatshop kids need another two cents added to their paycheck, dammit!)

Nike has told retailers and sporting good stores that they won’t be taking reservations. Long-ass lines and crazy expensive shoes? People will still buy them in droves. Although some are urging others to stop the madness:

“Prices are getting crazy excessive and as long as we continue to buy sneakers, Nike is going to keep increasing the prices,” said Donell Brown, 30, who owns a cleaning services company in Dearborn, Mich.Mr. Brown said he and his friends have been posting messages on Twitter and YouTube, urging other longtime sneaker fans not to buy the pricier LeBron shoes and to forgo waiting in line for new sneaker releases.

The new shoes are called Nike LeBron X Nike Plus, because it’s not cool unless the company name is mentioned twice. Also, the letter X is the balls.

The shoes will come with embedded motion sensors that measures how high players jump.

So if you ever wanted to confirm that you really can’t play basketball like LeBron James and can, in fact, only jump an inch and a half off the ground, these sneakers are totally for you!

Ginuwine’s Daughter Calls Him a Deadbeat

R&B singer Ginuwine’s oldest daughter Tiffany Nicole took to Twitter and Instagram to air out her famous dad.

In multiple screenshots, Tiffany refers to her father as a “deadbeat” and non-existent in her life, tweeting, “Some wish they had a father But sometimes ur better off cuz I wish I never met mine! #lookalikenothingalike.”

In one image, Tiffany posts an alleged coversation between the two where she texts, “WAKE UP DEAD BEAT UR KIDS ARE STILL ALIVE THANK GOD FOR THAT!”

In response, Ginuwine allegedly writes, “You are such a disrespectful lil ungrateful b—- don’t you ever call for shit ever deadbeat that get lost.”

Tiffany Nicole says she texts her father messages like this everyday “to let him know how much of a deadbeat loser he is!!!!”

Ginuwine has not released a public statement on the matter, nor has he denied participating in the above conversation, yet.

Ginuwine has a total of eight kids, six are biological, two with his wife Sole’ and the other four by four different women. He adopted his wife’s two children that she had prior to their marriage.

An upside down house in Trassenheide in Germany. Even the furniture inside is stuck to the ceiling.

 The Mushroom House (also known as Tree House) in the Hyde Park section of Cincinnati, Ohio is designed by late architect Terry Brown, a professor of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati. The “Casa da pedra” (House of Stone) built inside a rock in the mountains of Fafe in Portugal.

 The “Beer Can House” in Houston is a project started in 1968 by John Milkovisch, a retired upholsterer for the Southern Pacific Railroad. It has more than 50,000 cans on its facade.

 The “Haines Shoe House” was built in Pennsylvania in 1948 as an advertising gimmick by Colonel Mahlon N. Haines, the Shoe Wizard of York.

 A Futuro House in Frisco, North Carolina. These round, prefabricated houses are  designed by Matti Suuronen, and are composed of polyester plastic and fiberglass.

 ”Vortex House” was an art installation in Montrose, Houston, on a house awaiting demolition. Unfortunately, the house has already been torn down.

 The Sea Shell House is a luxurious vacation rental home in Isla Mujeres in Mexico, with a 180-degree view of the ocean.

 The Pickle Barrel House in Michigan is a two-story cabin built of two barrels. The house design is based on 2-inch-tall cartoon characters who live in a pickle barrel.

 Kubuswoningen, or Cube Houses, are a set of innovative houses designed by architect Piet Blom in 1984 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. There are 38 small cubes and two so called ‘super-cubes’, all attached to each other.

 The “Maison Gaudet” bubble houses in the south of France are designed by Antti Lovag, an anti-conformist architect with no diploma who built this residence after an experimental model in 1969.

 The famous “Steel House” of the late Robert Bruno, an architectural sculpture artist in Ransom Canyon, Texas.

A symbol of Vernon in France, the “Old Mill” still lies straddling two piers of the ancient bridge over the Seine. it has been a source of inspiration for many painters, including Monet.

 The Twisted House in the Indianapolis Arts Center in Indiana was created by John McNaughton of Evansville. It is made of cedar

The “Mother Goose” house in Kentucky was created by George Stacy in 1940. It has 8 egg-shaped windows and automobile lights as the goose’s eyes.

A perfect house for a hermit in the mountains, away from civilization. Just pull up the ladder and no more unwanted visitors

A concrete Spaceship House in Tennessee. It even has a drop down airplane door that leads directly to a bar.

 A strange hotel designed by Dang Viet Nga, an avant-garde artist who got away with more weirdness than she otherwise would because she was the daughter of Ho Chi Mihn’s successor. It’s known as “Crazy House”.

 The House in the Clouds was built in 1923 as the water tower in Thorpeness, England, disguised as a house to avoid it being an eyesore. Originally, there was an inhabitable five-story strcture covering the base and a second house shell built around the tank at the top. Later, when Thorpeness was linked to a main water supply, the tank was dismantled and the space turned into more living space.

 Habitat 67 is a housing complex and landmark located in Montreal, Canada. Its design was created by architect Moshe Safdie, based on his master’s thesis at McGill University and built as part of Expo 67. The building was supposed to illustrate the new lifestyle people would live in increasingly crowded cities around the world.

Jackson Family Members Officially Blocked From Katherine Jackson’s Compound

According to Roland S. Martin, the Jackson family drama may be cooling off after a few weeks of intense bickering back and forth, but don’t expect everyone coming back together completely. That is, if you’re Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson, Randy Jackson, and Jermaine Jackson trying to find your way back onto the property where Katherine Jackson and Michael Jackson’schildren reside. Worse, not even Rebbie, Randy, or Jermaine’s kids can come over.

Roland has obtained a letter from Howard Weitzman, who represents John McClain and John Branca, the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate, sent to Charles Schultz, an attorney for TJ Jackson.

In the letter, Weitzman makes it plain who can and cannot enter the compound:

Weitzman writes that after the drama over the last two weeks, which including allegations that Katherine Jackson had gone missing for 10 days and was unable to reach Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson, which led to her having to share guardianship of the children with another grandchild, TJ Jackson, it is necessary to bar certain family and friends from the property.

“Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, and in order to protect the children and Mrs. Jackson, the Executors believe that it would not be appropriate to allow the following individuals to enter the residence or its grounds and we instruct the security to preclude the following from entering the residence or the grounds: Randy Jackson and any of his children, Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and any of her children, Jermaine

Jackson, his wife and any of his children, Janice Smith, or anyone else who was involved in the recent events that led to Mrs. Jackson’s separation from and inability to communicate with Michael’s children, or any agents or representatives of any of these individuals,” Weitzman wrote.

“There will be no other security or drivers allowed on the property except those employed by the Estate of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson is precluded from entering the property. Howard Mann who is in litigation against the Estate and is working with the Jackson siblings that wrote the “letter” should also not be allowed on the premises.”

The “letter” Weitzman is referring to is the one signed by Randy, Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and Tito Jackson, alleging that the 2002 will authorizing Branca and McClain to be the executors of estate is fraudulent. Tito later apologized for signing the letter.

“Of course, Paris, Prince and Blanket, T.J. and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, current security (hired by the Estate), staff (per T.J.), Meg Lodise, Michael Kane, Sandra Ribera, Parry Sanders, Trent Jackson, you (Charles Shultz) and anyone else authorized by T.J. (other than the Excluded Individuals listed above), may enter and remain on the premises,” Weitzman wrote.

Why do the MJ estate executors have this power? They pay the rent. Oop.

Ne-Yo Says MLK isn’t Worth the Weight Gain

Ne-Yo was offered the role of the late great Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., but turned it down because he has to gain 30 pounds.

“I definitely want to do more acting, but it’s got to make sense with the music,” he told Britain’s Sunday Mirror. “They wanted to start shooting [the Martin Luther King Jr. movie] at the same time my album R.E.D. comes out (September 18) and wanted me to gain 30 pounds, so I couldn’t do it. I’m kicking myself but acting can’t take the place of my music. Plus, I’ve been killing myself in the gym for months preparing for this album because I wanted a complete makeover.”

Package Detailing Colorado Shooter’s Attack Sat Unopened in Mailroom for a Week

James Holmes, the man accused of the tragic massacre of 12 people in Aurora, Colorado, and injuring dozens more, sent plans of his attack to a psychiatrist at the University of Colorado, reports the New York Post.

According to authorities, the package sat unopened in the mailroom for approximately one week and was discovered Monday.

NYP reports:

Police and FBI agents were called to the University of Colorado Anschutz medical campus in Aurora on Monday morning after the psychiatrist, who is also a professor at the school, reported receiving a package believed to be from the suspect.

Although that package turned out to be from someone else and harmless, a search of the Campus Services’ mailroom turned up another package sent to the psychiatrist with Holmes’ name in the return address, the source told FoxNews.com.

A second law enforcement source said authorities got a warrant from a county judge and took the package away Monday night. When it was opened, its chilling contents were revealed.

“Inside the package was a notebook full of details about how he was going to kill people,” the source told FoxNews.com. “There were drawings of what he was going to do in it – drawings and illustrations of the massacre.”

Among the images shown in the spiral-bound notebook’s pages were gun-wielding stick figures blowing away other stick figures.

The source said the package had been in the mailroom since July 12, though another source who confirmed the discovery to FoxNews.com could not say if the package arrived prior to Friday’s massacre. It was not clear why it had not been delivered to the psychiatrist. The notebook is now in possession of the FBI, sources told FoxNews.com.

Both sources said the intended recipient of Holmes’ notebook was a professor who also treated patients at the psychiatry outpatient facility, located in Building 500, where the first suspicious package was delivered. It could not be verified that the psychiatrist had had previous contact with Holmes, who was a dropout from the school’s neuroscience doctoral program and had studied various mental health issues and ailments as part of his curriculum.

As previously reported by NewsOne, Holmes has appeared in court appearing tired and disorientated. According to various reports, inmates have been whispering about killing him if given the opportunity and he only had one question for his jailers.

Failed novelists over at The National Enquirer have a imagined a new chapter in their ongoing saga, “Khloé Kardashian’s Daddy Ain’t Her Daddy.” As they alleged previously, O.J. Simpson is in fact her real pops. This time, they’re saying Khloé  Kardashianknows this to be true but wants to wait seven more years before finding out “the truth.”

Why?

Well:

Khloé , her sisters, Kim, 32, Kourt­ney, 33, and brother Rob, 25, were all left with a trust from Kardashian’s estate, but they can’t cash in until they turn 35. And Khloé  is not about to kiss off easy money by discovering she isn’t rightfully part of the inheri­tance, note the sources.

Because you know, members of the Kardashian family are really, really strapped for cash – even Khloé  despite being recently named one of the top five highest paid actresses/TV personalities in Hollywood.

But if you need a fiction fix, here goes the rest of the tale:

O.J. had an affair with Khloé ’s mom Kris Jenner while she was still married to Kardashian, according to the family friend.

And The ENQUIRER recently pointed out that although Khloé  doesn’t look like her sisters, there is a startling resemblance between her and the disgraced football star’s 26-year-old daughter Sydney. Take a look below. What do you think?

Kris confessed in her memoir that she “fooled around” while married but never admitted to having sex with O.J. Meanwhile, the attorney and the football legend had been very close friends since the early ’80s and often partied together before Robert divorced Kris in 1989.

“O.J., his wife Nicole, Robert and Kris were all wild back then,” said the family friend. “Kris crossed the line and slept with O.J. more than once.

“It  was one of the main reasons Robert divorced Kris and blamed the whole thing on her.”

After talking to her mother about what happened, Khloé  believes O.J. is her biological father and plans to eventually find out for certain, according to the

family friend.

“She wants the absolute truth,” added the friend. “But she is very happy to remain a Kardashian until she turns 35.”

President Obama Remarks On Colorado Theater Shooting [VIDEO]

The shooting of moviegoers in Colorado “reminds us all of the ways that we are united as one American family,” President Barack Obama said Friday in remarks mourning the victims of the overnight massacre.

Speaking in Florida, where he cut short a campaign trip, the president led a crowd in a moment of silence and called for Americans to reflect on what he called a senseless act of violence.

“Even as we learn how this happened and who’s responsible, we may never understand what leads anybody to terrorize their fellow human beings like this,” Obama said. “If there’s anything to take away from this tragedy it’s the reminder that life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and precious.”

The presidential campaign was essentially put on hold after a gunman waged an assault on viewers of a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colorado.

Obama canceled a planned campaign stop for later Friday in Florida to return to the White House; Vice President Joe Biden and first lady Michelle Obama also canceled political events set for Friday afternoon. The Romney campaign canceled a planned series of radio interviews this afternoon.

“I am so moved by your support, but there are going to be other days for politics. This, I think, is a day for prayer and reflection,” the president told supporters.

Additionally, the both the Romney and Obama campaigns put a hold on airing political ads on television on Colorado for at least the weekend.

Romney was set to address the shooting at an afternoon event in New Hampshire.

Details from the shooting were still emerging as of late Friday morning, but White House press secretary Jay Carney said that the president was first notified of the shooting at 5:26 a.m. ET by John Brennan, his homeland security adviser. Obama called the mayor of Aurora later in the morning, and received a follow-up briefing from Brennan, White House chief of staff Jack Lew, and FBI Director Robert Mueller.

“The president orders that his administration do everything that it can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time,” Carney said in a gaggle aboard Air Force One.

Most political reaction revolved around expressing sympathies for the victims of the shooting.

“I am stunned and furious at the news of the shooting at the Aurora Century 16 Movie theatre this morning,” said Democratic Colorado Rep. Ed Perlmutter, whose district includes the site of the crime. “Colorado is not a violent place, but we have some violent people. We are a strong and resilient community, and we will lean on each other in the days, weeks and months to come.”

Few elected officials touched on the impact of the Colorado shootings on the long-simmering debate about gun control laws.

“I would say as you know the president believes we need to take common sense measures that protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans while ensuring that those who should not have guns under existing laws do not get them,” Carney said when asked about the impact of the shooting on the gun debate. “We’re making progress in that regard in terms of improving the volume and quality of information on background checks, but I have nothing additional on that for you. This is obviously a recent event.”

One of the few exceptions to that came from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a longtime advocate for stricter gun laws.

“You know, soothing words are nice, but maybe it’s time that the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they are going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country,” Bloomberg said on WOR Radio in New York. “No matter where you stand on the Second Amendment, no matter where you stand on guns, we have a right to hear from both of them concretely, not just in generalities — specifically, what are they going to do about guns?”

Nicki Minaj Scammed Out Of 100K?

Word on the street is that our favorite Barbie doll Nicki Minaj was scammed by a local music producer, Ellis Briggs, in her hometown of Trinidad while filming her new music video ‘Pound The Alarm’.

According to radaronline, Nicki allegedly paid Briggs who owns a video production company $100,000 to produce her new video, but he never did the work.

Police in Trinidad confirmed that a lawsuit has been filed against Briggs by London Entertaiment – the company that filmed the Benny Boom music video.

And get this…Briggs has denied that he scammed the Young Money star and claimed that the femcee still owes him $19,000 in payment.

Mom Who Allegedly Killed Infant Son By Sleeping On Him After Drinking A Fifth Of Vodka Burns Herself To Death

Toni Annette Medrano (pictured), the Minnesota woman who allegedly suffocated her 3-week-old infant son by sleeping on him after drinking a heavy amount of vodka last November, has died after setting herself on fire, the Pioneer Press reports.

Medrano’s tragic suicide comes less than one month after she was torched as a horrible mother on a June 11 segment of the “Nancy Grace” show on the NLN cable news channel. As NewsOne reported on June 9, Medrano was charged with manslaughter after allegedly drinking a fifth of vodka before falling asleep on her son, subsequently smothering him to death. The show dubbed Medrano as the “Vodka Mom.”

On July 2, she doused herself with a flammable liquid and set herself ablaze in her mother’s backyard. She was rushed to a local hospital where she died five days later. Police said she was “despondent and suicidal over personal issues.”

Her Husband, Jason Medrano, felt the segment was cruel.

“The things people said were horrible,” he said outside his townhome Monday, July 9. “It shows that cyberbullying happens to adults, too.”

It’s happened before — with the same show.

According to ABC News, a Leesburg, Fla., mother told police in 2006 that her baby was missing. Police considered her a possible suspect. She appeared on “Nancy Grace,” where she was intensely interrogated. The woman killed herself about one week later.

Attempts on Monday to contact representatives of the show and its parent CNN were unsuccessful.

Is the show — hosted by legal commentator and former prosecutor

Nancy Ann Grace — to blame?

Not directly, said Chris Ison, professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota.

It’s impossible to know the motivations of suicidal people, so no news program can be blamed for a suicide.

Still, Ison said, such cable news/talk shows damage the reputations of journalists by addressing serious subjects in a non-serious way.

“There can be bad consequences,” Ison said. “It is troubling to track such serious topics and use them as entertainment — in a way that is sensational, mocking, accusatory and loud.

“One of the basic principles of journalism is to minimize harm, but we cause harm all the time. We have to weigh it against the value of the news presented, and shows like this one are out of balance.”

Was the show, in part, to blame for pushing Medrano over the edge?

On her show, Nancy Grace simulated the number of drinks a fifth of vodka is. (17, according to the host’s count) She also reported that Medrano had several DUIs and had a heavy drinking problem. Whether or not the show was the final emotional jolt of guilt that pushed her over the edge will never be known. (I do not think it is particularly fair to blame the show, personally)

Thing is, Medrano never stood trial for the crimes she was charged with. And, as horrible as her alleged acts were, we have to start thinking about why all of these mothers are recklessly harming and killing their children. If Medrano was convicted of the manslaughter charges against her, did she stand a chance of being rehabilitated? NewsOne ofter reports on bad parents and highlight their egregious behavior via social media. But should a new light be focused on mental health issues that drive parents to behave in such a way?

Medrano set herself on fire, which was possibly a slow, painful death. Did she want to feel pain over what she did? Why not just shoot herself and make it a fast, instant death. I think she wanted to suffer. In any case, her death was a very sad one and now her other children have no mother to raise them and a husband is without his wife. The Medrano family lost two lives instead of one.

As bad a mother as Medrano may have been, I feel sorry that she killed herself. She needed help. Do you agree with me?

Christina Milian Says The Dream Does Not Spend Time With Their Daughter

I feel complete, music is my passion and it’s all about labels getting you. I feel like Wayne, Mack, Baby they get me and they are so solid  when it comes to them supporting their team and artists on the label. I feel like I’m 18 getting a record deal for the first time.

I’m not happy at the moment, but I have come to the realization that I have to be 200% mom for her and it’s not about finances, it’s about spending time.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Arrested In H-Town [MUGSHOT]

Adrian Peterson, running back for the Minnesota Vikings was arrested over the weekend at Live! at Bayou Place nightclub in downtown Houston after allegedly shoving a police officer while refusing to the leave the club after it was closed.

Peterson was released Saturday on $1,000 bond and is supposed to go before a judge for the misdemeanor this coming Friday.

NeNe Leakes’ Son Arrested Twice In One Month!

NeNe Leakes’ son, Bryson Bryant, has been arrested yet again. Bryson has been arrested twice in less than two weeks. On June 25th he was arrested for driving with a revoked suspended license suspended and was released on June 26th. He was then arrested again on July 5th for violating his probation and is currently being held without bail.

Bryson was busted in 2010 for possession of marijuana and in 2011 for shoplifting.

Man Uses 800 Pounds Of Pennies To Pay Off Mortgage

(Milford, MA)  –  Paying off a mortgage can be a memorable thing and a Massachusetts man made the most of his final payment when he used 800 pounds of pennies.  Thomas Daigle delivered more than 62-thousand pennies to the Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association to pay off his house that he had first purchased in the late 1970s.  The Milford resident told the “Milford Daily News” that the bank was fine with his plan and it helped that he notified them first.  He brought two boxes to the place in April with each one tipping the scales at over 400-pounds.  The pennies were rolled inside of the boxes but the April 24th delivery date was a special one in two ways.  It was also his 35th wedding anniversary.

I have been single for almost 3 years and I believe I finally met a guy who is worth my time and energy. He recently moved to Atlanta (where I live) and we have been getting along great! We have a tad bit of history because I knew him when I lived in Ohio. In fact, I went to school with his sister and he went to school with my brother. Things sound like they are all peachy, but they are not!

The problem is, he told me a couple of days ago that his ex-girlfriend lives down here. Now, I am not the jealous type so I was ok with that. Then yesterday, he says that Sunday is like his family day! I asked him what he meant and he said that he goes over to her house and spends time with her son while she does his laundry and cooks him dinner. I did not know what to say to him after that! He doesn’t even call her his ex, he still refers to her as “MY GIRL!” I honestly do not know what to do about this situation! I like him, but I don’t want to have to share him with an EX and a child that is not his!!! Please help me! – Trying To Be Understanding

I officially quit this –ish! Your letter is the reason why I don’t fool with y’all so damn early, and especially filling up my inbox with these nonsense letters about some man who you think you’re seeing and he tells you he spends family day with his ex and her child. He’s clearly pulled the wool over your eyes, well it’s that blond weave with purple highlights that’s preventing you from seeing what’s so obvious. Let me clear my throat and say this loudly for you – HE MOVED TO ATLANTA TO BE WITH HIS EX. Yes, do-do brains! In order to reconcile or rekindle whatever love they had, he made it his business to track her down, moved to Atlanta and continued playing house with her, all while he keeps you as the side piece concubine. WAKE UP and stop being desperate for a man. Chile, I can smell that cheap perfume you’re wearing and it’s wreaking through the computer – it’s eau de toilet mixed with desperation/weak/needy/dumb. Look, Ms. Trying To Be Understanding, this man is not for you. He will never be for you. He is still caught up and hung up on his ex. You need to find a man who is single, without any attachments to an ex, or searching for an ex, and looking to reconnect with an ex. Find an available man who wants to be with you. My Mom Wouldn’t Let Me See My Boyfriend & He Called Her Out Of Her Name

First, let me start off by saying that I’m a young lady who is 17-years of age.  I get all A’s and B’s and I have a boyfriend who’s 18 years old, and he’s really handsome and funny. But, just the other day him and my mom got into an argument because I tried to go see him and got caught (he lives 40 minutes away). We attend two different schools and we see each other every other weekend, but we talk all the time. I thought we were pretty happy.

Well, he got mad at my mom because she wouldn’t let me go see him, and she said “F” him. So, he got mad and called her a bish and so on. And, he’s going to Georgia for a while. Well, he always seems cool and never the type to cheat. He left himself logged in on my phone and he was messaging other females on Facebook. It wasn’t anything serious, but it was a lot of females and none of them paid him any mind. He was asking for their number and what not. I confronted him about it and he said he would never talk to other girls. Ugh! I don’t know what to do. – Young In Love

You’re so caught up and running behind this knuckle-head nappy-headed boy that you’re disrespecting your own mother, and allowing him to do it as well, which means he probably doesn’t respect you, or even think highly of you. If he can sit up there and call your mother out of her name, then yes, I am very certain he has and is calling you out of yours. Please, tell me where this boy lives so I can punch him in his bird a** chest! He wants to be a big man, then let him go toe-to-toe with a big man!

Giiiiiirrrrrrrrlllllll, you done gone and got my blood pressure up! Where is Big Momma and ‘em?!? They will get a switch from a bush and whoop yo’ a**! That’s what you kids need. Listen to your mother. You may not be able to understand this now, or today, but the wisdom, experience, and knowledge your mother is imparting to you will truly show up in your life later. I know it’s hard when you’re 17 years old, and you want to think and feel like you’re grown, but you’re not. Your parents have been there and done exactly what you’re doing. She knows and can see some things you cannot, and she is saving you from heartache and heartbreak. She knows your lil bastard a** boyfriend ain’t –ish! That’s why she said, “F” him! Didn’t you say you saw him on Facebook trying to hook up with other girls? Duh! That’s not geometry or trigonometry. You better use your high school intelligence and wake your behind up and see that he is cheating on you, and probably got other girls in his school, or in his own neighborhood. Man Beats 82-Year-Old Senior Citizen After Car Accident

An 82-year-old woman was beaten in the chest after being rear-ended by an unknown motorist on Tuesday, WXYZ-TV reports. The woman, who asked the Detroit television station that her name not be used, was turning onto Pinehurst from W. McNichols Rd. on the city’s west side. It was then that an unidentified man hit her from behind.

When the woman got out to inspect the damages, the man began to beat her with his fists.

“He just came over and grabbed me… literally lifted me off the ground. He’s a big man” she says. She also says she yelled at the man, “Leave me alone! Leave me alone! Why are you doing this?”

The woman experienced chest pains as a result of the assault and was treated at a local hospital. Neighbors who saw the attack came to the woman’s aid and scared the thug off. He drove away in an older red Pontiac Grand Am. Witnesses wrote down the license plate number, but it did not match the car.

Sandra Duncan, the woman who yelled at the man to stop beating on the elderly woman, says she and other witnesses hope that the man told someone of the accident and that person will be honest enough to call police.

“This is an 82-year-old and she didn’t deserve to be beat down out of her shoe like that. He hit her so hard that her shoe came off her foot,” said Duncan.
