Beyoncé, the Grammy-winning singer and supermom to baby Blue Ivy, is the newest face of fast fashion brand H&M.

The Swedish retailer confirmed on Thursday that Beyoncé will appear in ads for its island-inspired summer campaign, shot on the beaches of Nassau in the Bahamas.
The cheap-but-chic collection includes bodycon pieces, sundresses and swimwear, including a tie-dyed bikini.

H&M called the campaign an “epic fantasy” and said Beyoncé’s influence is evident in the designs.
Queen Bey, who announced last month she’s embarking on a four-month “Ms. Carter Show” world tour in April, is a fan of H&M.

She applauded the “fun and affordable fashion” in a statement.
Beyoncé will also appear in a commercial for the brand, which will feature one of her new songs, “Standing on the Sun.”

Preparations are already underway for Michelle Obama’s big 50th birthday next January, and two of music’s biggest acts have reportedly been booked for the occasion.
An unnamed (and potentially questionable) source told the UK’s Daily Mail that the first lady has asked Beyonce and Adele to perform at her party.
“America’s first lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked them both to sing,” an unnamed source told The Daily Mail. “Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the first lady and her friends.”
Beyonce has a long-standing relationship with the Obamas. The singer famously performed at President Obama’s inauguration earlier this year, and, along with her husband Jay-Z, was a major supporter of Obama during his run for presidency and reelection. Beyonce also wrote the first lady a birthday card earlier this year for her 49th. “Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that [you] do for us,” Beyonce wrote. “I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

Rick Ross gets behind the camera and directs his new video for “Pirates” off 2012′s God Forgives, I Don’t album.
This clip took longer than usual for a Rozay visual to make it onto the air, and the Internets. We say behind the scenes photos from the “set” way back in early November 2012. The Maybach Music Group rapper is seen off the coast of Miami in a cigarette boat with a bikini clad vixen. She also puts in work, unloading the boats illicit cargo.
Also, the Bawse is seen rapping while seated on what looks like a thrown made out of coral. Ruh.
The song itself is produced by Keno and Got Koke and is the opening song (although technically track number two) off Rozay’s aforementioned, fifth studio album. Ross recently revealed the title of his next album, which will be called Mastermind, and also dropped a video for his and Stalley’s version of Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa.”

Trueman: From the moment Beyoncé strapped on those silly stilettos to bounce around in the “Move Your Body” video, she’s been a wobbly spokesperson for Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move Campaign.” Now she’s signed a $50 million dollar deal with Pepsi, which will presumably entail her exhorting her millions of young fans to baste their bodies in bubbly high fructose corn syrup.
Apparently, she didn’t get the childhood obesity/diabetes epidemic memo. Do celebrities with Beyoncé’s massive influence on young kids have a moral obligation to consider the horrendous impact of excessive soda consumption in our culture when they mull over megabuck branding opportunities?
Nestle: From my privileged position as a tenured, full-salaried faculty member at NYU, the answer is an unambiguous yes. Beyoncé will now be marketing sugar-sweetened beverages, products increasingly linked to childhood obesity, especially among minority children.
This linkage is not a coincidence. Pepsi and other makers of sugary sodas deliberately and systematically market their products to low-income, minority children.
Beyoncé will now be part of that targeted marketing campaign.
If Beyoncé’s mission is to inspire young people of any color to look gorgeous and rise to the top, as she has done, she is now telling them that the way to get there — and to get rich — is to drink Pepsi. This untrue suggestion is, on its own, unethical.
Pepsi must think that getting this message out, and putting Beyoncé’s photo on its soda cans, is well worth $50 million.
For PepsiCo, $50 million is trivial. According to Advertising Age (June 2012), PepsiCo sold $66.5 billion worth of products in 2011, for a profit of $6.4 billion. Pepsi sales in the U.S. accounted for $22 billion of that.
PepsiCo’s total advertising budget funneled through advertising agencies, and therefore reportable, was $944 million. Of that amount, $196 million was used to market Pepsi alone. The rest went for Gatorade ($105 million), Mountain Dew ($23 million) and PepsiCo’s many other Quaker and Frito-Lay products.
One other relevant point: half of PepsiCo’s annual sales are outside the United States. Like other multinational food companies, it is focusing marketing efforts on emerging economies. This means that Beyoncé will also be pushing sugary drinks on people in developing countries. PepsiCo just spent $72 million to sponsor cricket tournaments in India, for example.
Fifty million dollars seems like an unimaginable amount of money to me. If PepsiCo offered it to me, I would have to turn it down on the grounds of conflict of interest. But this is easy for me to say, because the scenario is so unlikely.
What $50 million means for Beyoncé I cannot know. Some sources estimate her net worth at $300 million. If so, $50 million adds a substantial percentage. And the Pepsi deal will give her phenomenal exposure.
But from where I sit, Beyoncé has crossed an ethical line. She is now pushing soft drinks on the very kids whose health is most at risk. And her partnership with Pepsi will make public health measures to counter obesity even more difficult.
This is a clear win for Pepsi. And a clear loss for public health.
Beyoncé has now become the world’s most prominent spokesperson for poor diets, obesity and its health consequences, and marketing targeted to the most vulnerable populations.

If anything holds true, it’s this: the appeal of Beyoncé is irresistible. And a Fox News anchor let the star’s catchy tunes get the best of her when she was caught breaking it down to Queen B’s smash 2008 hit “Single Ladies” during a commercial break.
To be fair, early morning delirium may have already set in. Tia Ewing, an anchor for Fox 40, a local California station, was working at 4:15 a.m. when cameras caught her dancing during a cut to commercial, the Huffington Post reported. In an on-air segment later in the day—after her coworkers played the clip—Ewing said she was unaware that the cameras were rolling when she busted out her moves, including, of course, Beyoncé’s famous “put-a-ring-on-it” hand flip. Still, Ewing tried to shrug off the entertaining gaffe.
“I gotta get it where I can get it,” she said.
She added that Fox 40 viewers got a glimpse into the real Tia Ewing.
“That’s really who I am,” she said. “I’m crazy.”
Later, she tweeted: “They caught me, BUSTED! Let’s hope this doesn’t go viral.”

Huge news for Beyonce fans! The singer will reportedly release new music before her February Super Bowl performance.
Billboard recently interviewed artist and Beyonce collaborator The-Dream, who spoke about what’s ahead for Bey.
“Definitely,” said The-Dream when asked if Beyonce would release a new song before the Super Bowl. “She’s got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she’s in a place where she’s ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan.”
“She’s already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out,” The-Dream continued. “I’m sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here.”
Little is known about the unreleased tracks. A photo leaked this week of Beyonce in the studio with husband Jay-Z, and she worked with Miguel earlier this fall, so a few collaborations may be in the works.
It was also recently announced that the singer will be the subject of a documentary, to air on HBO in 2013.
“HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity,” Beyonce said in a statement. “Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”
The documentary will air Feb. 16, 2013, less than two weeks after Beyonce’s Feb. 3 Super Bowl performance.

Beyonce is directing and executive producing a new HBO documentary that will give fans a better look into her life, but before the February 16 premiere she’s hit us with a trailer.
“I always battle with how much I reveal about myself,” the 31-year-old singer says in the clip, as we begin to get snapshots from childhood video to recent onstage footage. Watch above.
“Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming said in a statement recently. “Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.”
The special will include both personal footage, some of which was shot by Beyoncé on her laptop, along with the addition of home movies of the superstar growing up Houston. The storyline will follow her from early childhood throughout her journey to becoming a pop star, and now, as she plots life after the after the birth of daughter Blue Ivy.

Most of us never heard the name Blue Ivy until Jay-Z and Beyoncé welcomed their daughter into the world, but the celebrity power couple were unable to obtain a trademark for the beautiful moniker.
The Carters were unable to trademark their baby’s name after the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office sent a suspended letter to the couple for pending trademarks on their bundle of joy’s name, The Boston Herald reports. Instead, Boston-based wedding-planning company Blue Ivy is allowed to operate under the name, which it has been doing since 2009.
Veronica Alexandra, the 32-year-old owner of Blue Ivy, said she holds no ill will against Beyoncé or the star rapper, saying that she “highly respects” the “Crazy in Love” singer.
“I can’t be frustrated with something I think is going to bring me to produce and define my brand even more, which is financially exciting in itself and intellectually exciting as well,” she told the paper. “It’s like they caused me to create more opportunity for myself.”
Since she was born on January 7, Blue Ivy has taken the world by song. Her proud papa has rapped about her on songs like “Glory” and Rick Ross‘ “3 Kings,” while her mom has posted adorable baby pics on her Tumblr site.
In fact, Blue has become so popular that President Barack Obama doled out advice for Hov, so he can properly raise his little one. “I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyoncé out [with the baby], and not leaving it all with Beyoncé and the mother-in-law,” the POTUS said during a radio interview last week.

Did one of President Barack Obama’s biggest celebrity fans drop out of an upcoming film with actor and director Clint Eastwood?
Variety reports that Beyonce Knowles has dropped out of the unmade Eastwood flick “A Star is Born,” citing scheduling conflicts, according to their sources.
The R&B singer recently hosted a mega fundraising bash with her husband, rapper Jay-Z on behalf of Obama’s campaign last month. And Beyonce also sang Etta James’ “At Last” for the Obamas “first dance” during the 2009 Inauguration.
Eastwood, who will direct the remake of the 1976 rock musical film, was cast into the lime light for a different reason in August. During a surprise appearance at the Republican National Convention, Eastwood delivered a rambling speech in which he spoke at length to a chair intended to represent an “invisible Obama.”
Beyonce was set to star in the upcoming film in the role once played by Barbara Streisand, and by Judy Garland in 1954.
The filmmaker has reportedly not yet settled on a male lead for the film.
Knowles’ publicist did not immediately return ABC News’ request for comment.

New photos reveal that the “I Was Here” singer spent her birthday aboard a private yacht cruising through the Mediterranean Sea in the South of France.
Going makeup-free and wearing a nautical-style blue-and-white outfit, Beyonce sipped white wine alongside her husband of four years Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter), 42. Looking cuter and more grown-up than ever, little girl Blue showed off a full head of curly hair and she played with her mom and dad during their luxurious sail.
Beyonce’s pals took over her website on Tuesday — festooning the site with handwritten birthday wishes from the likes of BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, her mom Tina Knowles, sister Solange, former bandmate Michelle Williams and many others.

Queen Bey has House of Dereon’s Fall collection is slowly making its debut and it’s obvious, Beyonce’s coming for every ready-to-wear designer out there. Something tells me Solange had something to do with the breath of fresh air that was breathed into House of Dereon. It has effortlesslytrendy written all over it.
I’ve always been the biggest Dereon critic, twisting my mouth into a snarl while turning my nose up in disgust at the two seams away from Baby Phat clothing. But not this time!
Beyonce’s House of Dereon Fall 2012 collection is, in a word…fierce! Leopard chiffon skirts with slits up to here, structured dresses with cutouts and high-waisted printed pants. I am 100% sold. Living legend, Harry Belafonte, who is known as a social activist and leader in the civil rights community, has deemed Jay-Z and Beyonce socially irresponsible!
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Belafonte expressed his disappointment with the way blacks in Hollywood have represented the race.
“They have not told the history of our people, nothing of who we are. We are still looking. We are not determinated. We are not driven by some technology that says you can kill Afghans, the Iraqis or the Spanish. It is all — excuse my French — shit. It is sad. And I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility. That goes for Jay-Z and Beyonce, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black”

So, other than those photographs Jay-Z posted of Blue Ivy right after she was born, it’s been hard to catch a glimpse of the little miss. We’ve seen Jay and Blue get their cuddle on in Paris. We’ve seen Beyonce and Blue act like a special-ops duo in New York. But even though she’s been across the continents, we haven’t actually been able to see Blue Ivy’s face. Fortuitously, that changed yesterday. Bey was spotted on a shopping trip to Bergdorf’s in New York, yesterday. While she completely covered her baby girl’s face, the singer herself looked gorgeous in a colorful, printed romper, yellow ballerina flats and a sexy new braided bun hairstyle. We were feeling a bit glum that we couldn’t get to see Blue’s face, but a tweet from a shopper inside the shop solved that little problem. You can see the mother-daughter duo properly on the right, courtesy this twitpic, that simply read, “ Beyoncé & Blue Ivy.” And how Miss Ivy’s grown! We’re flipping out over those cheeks! She’s a looker, for sure. Another shopper also tweeted about their presence in the store, writing, “It’s cool. Just shopping next to Beyonce at Bergdorf, baby on her hip. No entourage. She winked at me, no shit.” Hopefully the celebrity couple will release more photographs soon of this cutie.

Even though he’s married to the hottest chick in the game, Jay-Z recently revealed he has a secret crush on actress Nia Long. Nia and Beyonce’s husband caught up with each other recently at a star studded event where she took the opportunity to compliment him on his successful career.
The 41-year old, Nia told Essence mag:
“I saw him at a party and I complimented him on his long run in music.”
“But he turned it around and asked me: ‘How does it feel to be every boy from the hood’s fantasy girlfriend for 20 years?’. It made me laugh, I hadn’t really thought about it.”

Beyonce has been doing a lot of writing these days. From letters to the First Lady to her mother, Tina Knowles and even to a blind kid. Yes, a blind kid. Beyonce’s all-of-a-sudden writing skills were the catalyst to my spinning wheel of a brain. Jay-Z and Kanye West had two of their biggest fans, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian, cheering them on in the front row as they closed out the “Watch the Throne” tour in Birmingham, England, on Friday night.
Jay’s wife and Kanye’s girlfriend covered their faces when they noticed that they had been spotted by concertgoers, who whipped out their camera phones to get a shot of the two.
The photos eventually made their way to Twitter, silencing those who said they don’t get along.
Kanye will head back to the U.S. for his two solo concerts at Revel in Atlantic City on July 6 and 7. He may also join his G.O.O.D. Music family onstage at the BET Awards on July 1.

Currently overseas checking out her man’s closing Watch The Throne Tour stop in Birmingahm, UK (where she was photo’d with Kim Kardashian) Beyonce proved she was up for a second round, as she was spotted getting down in the audience as Jay hit the stage with Rihanna for the opening day of BBC’s Radio 1 Hackney Weekend (aka #R1Hackney for those of you up on your trending topics.)
Although Rihanna is slated to headline tomorrow’s show, she shared the stage with Jay-Z who kicked off the weekend of performances with Kanye by his side. With hugs and plenty of Roc signs to go around, the pair had Beyonce moshing hard in the crowd. Seriously, Beyonce was moshing.
Nicki Minaj, M.I.A and Ed Sheeran also took the stage today. Rita Ora, Florence + the Machine, Nas, Calvin Harris, Lana del Rey and dozens of others will also be performing this weekend.

Hip Hop mogul and businessman Jay-Z, has a new toy to play with. Beyonce allegedly bought her husband a Bombardier Challenger 850. The private jet allegedly cost $40 million. It has a kitchen, bedroom and two bathrooms, reports sources.

Beyonce posted an excerpt from author Rebecca Solnit’s 2005 novel, A Field Guide to Getting Lost, on her Tumblr Wednesday — and the recurring message can be interpreted as an homage to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter’s instantly famous moniker.

The passage reads: “The world is blue at its edges and in its depths. This blue is the light that got lost. Light at the end blue end of the spectrum does not travel the whole distance from the sun to us. It disperses among the molecules of the air, it scatters in the water. Water is colorless, shallow water appears to be the color of whatever lies underneath it, but deep water is full of this scattered light, the purer the water the deeper the blue. The sky is blue for the same reason, but the blue at the horizon, the blue of the land that seems to be dissolving into the sky, is a deeper, dreamier, melancholy blue, the blue at the farthest reaches of the places where you see for miles, the blue of distance. This light does not touch us, does not travel the whole distance, the light that gets lost, gives us the beauty of the world, so much of which is in the color blue.”

Since the famous tot’s birth on January 7, 2011, fans of both award-winning artists have speculated on the symbolism behind “blue,” one being that the color holds special place in the hip-hop icon’s heart (“My favorite hue is Jay-Z blue,” he rapped in the song “Go Crazy” with Young Jeezy), plus he has gone on to release three Blueprint albums in the last decade.

“Ivy,” meanwhile, reportedly references the Roman numeral (“IV”) for 4 — a significant digit for both Beyonce and Jay-Z: Beyonce’s birthday is Sept. 4, Jay-Z’s is Dec. 4, they were married on April 4, 2008, and her latest album is entitled 4.

Beyonce hit the stage four different times in Atlantic City over the weekend, performing her first set of shows since giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy back in January. Bey, always the perfectionist, had been planning and rehearsing for the show for weeks, and she left nothing to be desired. Beyoncé returned to the stage Saturday night, on the second of a four-night run in this East Coast resort city. And it was a spectacular fitting her rising icon status.
So what kinds of clues get 20somethings calling you “the greatest performer” of your generation? Well, it’s in the details. For one, Revel, the sparkling, 6.3-million-square-foot beachfront destination that played host to Beyoncé’s comeback, devoted a channel on its guest-room flat-screen TVs solely to B-related content: no weather broadcasts, nary a “Housewife” and no commercial breaks; just videos, all-star performances and more, all through Memorial Day weekend. It was evident in the distance traveled, too, with fans telling MTV News they’d made cross-country pilgrimages, while still others came from as far as Tokyo and South Africa to hail Queen B.
But those are just the hints, peripheral proof. The presence of First Lady Michelle Obama at last night’s concert left little doubt that the little girl from Houston, who joined a girl group and then struck out on her own, had seen another benchmark in her relatively young career. After exchanging letters in recent months, with each calling the other a role model for girls, Obama turned up in a sleeveless green sheath waving like royalty from a balcony in Ovation Hall.

A few weeks ago Beyonce used her newly relaunched website to pen a heartfelt note to First Lady Michelle Obama, and for Mother’s Day Bey couldn’t pass up the chance to dedicate a handwritten piece to her favorite woman, Tina Knowles. Bey will be spending her first mother’s day with her mom, plus new daughter Blue Ivy and more than likely her sister Solange.
“Everything I am is because of you!” the note reads. “You are the first voice that ever sang to me. At every turn you push me to be better. You teach me to be true to myself and the ones I love. When I look into your eyes, I am sooo proud. Now that I’m a mother, I truly realize all the sacrifices you made for us. My love for you goes beyond what I can say. Happy Happy Mamas Day.

Last week Tina Knowles told US Weekly that the gang would be hanging together to celebrate the occasion. “[We're] all going to be together,” Knowles said. “We’re excited because it’s Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day. Beyonce stepped out and flaunted her figure just a few weeks after giving birth earlier
Beyonce is crazy in love with her first child, baby Blue Ivy, but there’s one thing she wasn’t too hot about during her pregnancy: the rumors.
The songstress, who was recently named People’s 2012 Most Beautiful Woman, opened up to the magazine about the “crazy” reports that she had used a surrogate to bring Blue into the world.
“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” she told People. “(I thought) ‘Where did they come up with this?’”
In a now infamous Australian interview that soon became a viral hit on the Internet, Beyonce’s baby bump appeared to collapse upon itself as she sat down in the interviewee chair, leading to speculation that the singer, 30, was sporting a prosthetic bump.
“It was a fabric that folded – does fabric not fold?” Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles told the magazine in exasperation. “Oh my gosh, so stupid.”
Beyonce and husband Jay-Z were also embroiled in rumors that the high security they required for the birth of their baby upset fellow patients in the maternity ward and staffers at the hospital.
The singer dismissed the reports as “so crazy” and “ridiculous.”
“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months,” her mother told People.
“As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

London: A pregnant Beyonce Knowles took to the ramp to showcase the latest collection from her fashion label House of Dereon at its launch in London.
After hitting New York Fashion Week and sitting front row with sister Solange, the `Crazy In Love` hitmaker flew to the UK to debut her collection on Saturday, reported Metro online.
As the last model stepped off the runway, the 30-year-old singer hit the catwalk for a celebratory moment with her mother and House of Dereon partner, Tina Knowles.
Clad in a dazzling sequined suit and towering platform heels, Beyonce strutted hand-in-hand with her mother, who also donned a chic, all-black ensemble.
Beyonce, who is pregnant with her first baby with husband Jay-Z, continued to jazz up her mother-to-be style with a plunging neckline blazer.
The mother-daughter duo created House of Dereon in 2004. The line of fashions for women is named after Beyonce`s maternal grandmother, Agnez Dereon.
