The show must go on! That must be singer Beyonce’s motto, as she no sooner announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards, then she confirmed that she would indeed be performing at a Michael Jackson tribute show later this fall.

While the concert was sold out, the internet is buzzing with photos and video clips from the event. She performed all of the songs from 4 and a few of her hits from previous albums (Single Ladies & Irreplaceable) and rocked a dress created by her mother, Tina Knowles.

Beyoncé headed to the rural parts of New Jersey to shoot her new music video on Tuesday (Aug. 2). According to various reports, the retro-themed clip was for “Party,” her collaboration with André 3000, off her platinum-certified album 4. The visuals, filmed in South Brunswick’s Oakdale Mobile Home Park, called for flashy fashions, a red muscle car, and colorfully-dressed dancers. Solange and Kelly Rowland joined B on set, while eager fans scouted out the location and snapped up some camera phone pics.
According to Video Static, B is also planning to shoot a video for “Countdown” with “Sweet Dreams” director Adria Petty.
Get your first look at the “Party” visuals below.

Beyonce Knowles arrives triumphantly on Billboard Hot 200 this week. The “Best I Ever Had” singer lands at No. 1 on the U.S. Album chart with her fourth studio installment “4″ which bows with 310,000 copies. She knocks off Jill Scott which previously ruled the list with “The Light of the Sun”.
With “4″ following its three predecessors in reigning the chart, Beyonce joins a few acts who debuted their first four studio albums atop the chart. Britney Spears got such achievement with her first four between 1999 and 2003, and DMX scored his own first five No. 1s between 1998 and 2003.
Although “4″ manages to keep up with the chart’s peak position reached by Beyonce’s previous efforts, the album provides the lowest opening number out of her four releases. She started the first week of 2008′s “I Am…Sasha Fierce” with 482,000; 2006′s “B’Day” with 541,000, and 2003′s “Dangerously In Love” with 317,000.
Meanwhile, Adele sits at No. 2 with her “21″ (92,000), Kanye West’s protege Big Sean arrives at No. 3 with “Finally Famous” (87,000), Selena Gomez and The Scene bow at No. 4 with “When the Sun Goes Down” (78,000), and last week’s champion Jill rounds up the top 5 after adding 55,000 copies of her latest album.
“4″ – Beyonce Knowles (310,000)
“21″ – Adele (92,000)
“Finally Famous” – Big Sean (87,000)
“When the Sun Goes Down” – Selena Gomez and The Scene (78,000)
“The Light of the Sun” – Jill Scott (55,000)
“My Kinda Party” – Jason Aldean (48,000)
“This Loud Morning” – David Cook (46,000)

Beyoncé is featured inside this month’s Time magazine. According to a record label insider, Beyoncé’s upcoming album, 4, is her worst album to date. The CD has caused turmoil and divisiveness at Sony/Columbia.
My source, who begged to remain anonymous, said Jay Z and Beyoncé both want the album released on schedule. But label execs don’t think Bey’s fans will embrace the album due to Jay Z’s incompetent A&R.
“This is the worst Beyoncé album ever!,” said my source from his home in New York.
[Jay Z] and his boys are A&R’ing Beyoncé but they’re not doing a great job at it. This has been the worst rollout I’ve ever seen on Beyoncé. She never put out this… I mean, granted, not everybody can put out great singles. But, this is the first time she put out back to back to back bad singles. None of them are working! At least when Mathew was here, he would have put the brakes on it, you know… Sometimes the saying goes: if it’s not broke, don’t fix it, you know? Mathew might have made some bad judgment calls on his personal life, but as a manager… he was a great manager.

Meanwhile, the singer is set to headline Glastonbury later this month and has announced that the next single from the album will be ‘Best Thing I Never Had’.

Beyonce’s collaboration with Kanye West and Outkast’s Andre 3000, ‘Party’, has been released online. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to hear it.
The track, which features verses from both West and the Outkast man, is the latest to be released online ahead of the formal release of the singer’s new studio album ’4′, which is due out on June 28.
‘Party’ has also been produced by West as well as hip-hop producer Consequence. It is the fifth track to emerge from ’4′ after the singer’s new single ‘Best Thing I Never Heard’ was released online last week. First single ‘Run The World (Girls)’, ‘Until The End Of Time’ and ’1+1′ had previously appeared online.
The ‘Single Ladies’ singer – who will perform on the show’s Pyramid Stage as the closing act of the UK festival in Somerset, South West England, on Sunday 26 June – has been feeling anxious about the show, so has secretly rented a studio in London to put in extra rehearsals.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Beyonce is so nervous about the gig she has booked the space for two weeks so she can perfect the set, which will include dizzying pyrotechnics. She’s literally playing with fire.
“Her performance at Glastonbury is already looking epic. She’s been given a helping hand by Jay-Z and Kanye West who both look set to perform songs with her.”
The 29-year-old singer will also spend the fortnight with her back-up singers, dancers, sound engineers and lighting technicians as she pulls out all the stops for her performance.
Beyonce admitted earlier this year she “cannot wait” to take to the stage at the spectacle.
She said: “This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend.
“I’m pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy.”
Beyonce was last at Glastonbury in 2008 with Jay, her husband, who was headlining that year.

Songwriter Diane Warren has revealed that she has given Beyonce the “best song” that she has “ever written”, which says a lot coming from someone who wrote ‘Because You Love Me’, ‘Un-Break My Heart’ and ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’.
The Academy Award-nominated hitmaker has worked with the likes of Mariah Carey, Aerosmith, Monica and Toni Braxton has said that Beyonce sang the song “amazingly”.
In an interview with PopWrap, the 54-year-old said: “I just wrote something a week and a half ago that Beyoncé recorded and I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever written. She sang it amazingly. I think it’s a career song and probably my favorite thing I’ve ever written … right now.”
Warren has high hopes for the song, as she said: “I think it’s really, really going to touch people.”
We’re totally excited to hear, what is no doubt going to be a spine-tingling ballad. Let’s hope it makes Beyonce’s upcoming album ’4′.

Beyonce Knowles wowed star-studded crowd of Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with a show stopping performance. The R&B diva played with virtual and special effects for the live performance of her women-empowerment single “Run the World (Girls)”.
Beyonce is one of the special honorees at the event. She received Millennium Award due to her career achievements and influence in the music industry. Her father Mathew, mother Tina, sister Solange Knowles, First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady GaGa, Bono, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder gathered up to honor her.
“I sang to Beyonce as a beautiful baby girl, but it wasn’t too long before she was singing back to me and to the whole world,” Tina Knowles said of her daughter before presenting the award. “Only 29 years old, for 15 of those years, you’ve been on the stage wowing crowd everywhere, raising the bar and setting new standards, but still managing to stay grounded and a beautiful person.”
First Lady Michele stated, “In addition to being just a beautiful young woman, she’s been a role model and a powerful presence for young girls and women all around the world.” She added, “I’m very proud of the women she is, the role model she provides to so many women and I truly congratulate her tonight on all her success.”
GaGa, who collaborated with her on hit single “Telephone”, chimed in, “You are so much more than just a pop star or an icon. You represent the dream.” Bono gushed, “She makes songs that will live forever.” Streisand sang praise for her as well, “Great performers have a sound and style that is all their own. And that’s why so many people love Beyonce. And so do I.”
The other special honoree is Neil Diamond who got Icon Award. Taking the most nods, meanwhile, are Justin Bieber and Eminem. The former dominates winner list with seven kudos including Top New Artist, and the latter takes home six gongs including Top Artist.

On Tuesday, Oprah taped two of her final three episodes of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in front of 20,000 fans at Chicago’s United Center. Celebrities including Madonna, Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks all showed up to pay homage to Winfrey as she wraps up her epic 25-year run as daytime’s leading lady to focus on the network she created, OWN.
Winfrey taped episodes two and three, which will air as a two-part series on May 23 and 24, before her final episode airs on May 25. The event was hosted by Tom Hanks as Oprah’s pals Gayle King, celebrity chef Tyler Florence, NFL star Emmitt Smith and others all sat in the audience.
“Now, Oprah, I know you do not like surprises. Let me see if I can put you at ease. There was an English playwright who said there’s no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved, and that is what tonight is all about … pulling off this little show at the United Center has been the best-kept secret,” Hanks told the room, before Cruise, who infamously declared his love for Katie Holmes on Oprah’s couch, arrived.
His arrival, according to The Hollywood Reporter, was followed up by performances from “America’s Got Talent” singer Jackie Evancho, Patti LaBelle and Josh Groban.
Madonna then joined the celebration, telling the talk show host, “It’s no secret that millions of people are inspired by Oprah. I am one of them. She’s a self-made woman who’s been at the top of her game for over 25 years and she is still kicking ass. And she is still kicking ass!”
Other big names who showed up for the taping include Halle Berry, Katie Holmes, Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith (who also acted as hosts at the event), Michael Jordan, Simon Cowell, Jerry Seinfeld, Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder, Rosie O’Donnell, Maria Shriver (just two days after her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shocking admission that he fathered a love child with a household employee 10 years ago), and poet Maya Angelou, to name a few.
In between all the other star-studded appearances, Beyoncé took the stage to perform her new single “Run the World (Girls).” Her performance included a number of backup dancers and was taped twice.
Usher closed out the action, with Will Smith announcing his appearance near the end of the four-hour-long taping. He sang a medley of “O.M.G.” and “Oh Happy Day” as confetti fell onto the audience.

Fans are excited to see what Beyoncé has in store for her “Run the World (Girls)” video, but it seems they’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. An announcement confirms that the premiere has been delayed, with no information on when B plans on dropping the video.
“OK, bad news: ‘Run the World (Girls)’ won’t be out on Friday like we thought. No new date yet. Beyoncé is perfecting it,” a statement from Vevo.com reads, Aceshowbiz.com reports. “We’re disappointed too but wanted to let you know as soon as we knew. We’ll [put] it up as soon as we do get it!”
A rep for the site had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment by press time, and a search on the site for the video comes up empty.
The Francis Lawrence-directed video remains in limbo, but teasers leading up to its release have given fans a taste of the super-fashionable, post-apocalyptic world that Beyoncé and her supermodel minions inhabit in the video. Donning couture by Givenchy and Norma Kamali, Queen B looks stylish while fending off an opposing army.
The song is the lead single off Beyoncé’s forthcoming album, 4. She recently spoke to Billboard.com about the track, which hasn’t sparked much interest on the charts (it has yet to climb into the top 10). “It’s definitely riskier than something a bit more … simple,” she said. “I just heard the track and loved that it was so different. It felt a bit African, a bit electronic and futuristic. It reminded me of what I love, which is mixing different cultures and eras — things that typically don’t go together — to create a new sound.
“I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal,” she continued. “That’s how I’ve gotten to where I am.”

Beyonce Knowles has given her fans a triple treat. First, she revealed the working title of her upcoming CD when doing an interview with Billboard for her cover story. “Everywhere I look, I see them calling it ’4′,” she said. “I had a whole other name and concept, but I keep seeing that the fans love the name ’4′.”
“I think it would be a really nice thing to let them name the record,” she continued. “We all have special numbers in our lives, and 4 is that for me,” she says. It’s the day I was born. My mother’s birthday, and a lot of my friends’ birthdays, are on the fourth; April 4 is my wedding date.”
Later, the wife of rapper Jay-Z held an album listening party at the NYC offices of Sony Music on Wednesday afternoon, May 11. She did not only preview “4″ but also screened her upcoming music video for first single “Who Run the World (Girls)”.
The first song, which got previewed at the listening party, has actually been leaked earlier this month under tentative title of “Till the End of Time”. It’s inspired by Fela Kuti, Afrobeat music pioneer who also inspired Jay-Z to produce a Broadway musical called “Fela!”.
Beyonce told Billboard, “I recorded more than 60 songs: everything I ever wanted to try, I just did it. I started off being inspired by Fela Kuti. I actually worked with the band from ‘Fela!’ for a couple of days…what I learned most from Fela was artistic freedom: he just felt the spirit.”
Another song is a ballad track which almost sent Beyonce to tears. It’s about broken-hearted woman with lyrics: “I told you how you hurt me/ I’m crying and deserted but you don’t care/ Nobody told me this is love/ You’re immune to all my pain/ This is love but that’s okay… But I care/ I know you don’t care too much/ But I still care.”
There is also a track which samples Boyz II Men’s “Uuh Aah”. Beyonce told JustJared, “Boyz II Men were the first ones to put Destiny’s Child on tour. They showed us how to treat an opening act and I will never forget that. That was 15 years ago! Wow, 15 years! (laughs) I’m old.”
Once the album preview was completed, Beyonce switched to screen upcoming “Who Run the World (Girls)” music video. “A lion walks into one of the dance numbers and Beyonce has two giant hyenas on leashes in another scene,” so it was described.
“The room went crazy during two parts of the song. The first was when Beyonce sings ‘eff you’ and gives the middle finger (albeit pixelated with a censor). The second was when Beyonce is on her knees, bent backwards, and writhing around in the sand. It’s reminiscent of the sand dance sequence in her ‘Baby Boy’ video.”
While waiting for the video to arrive for viewing pleasure, fans can get a sneak peek in this newly-released extended trailer which gives a longer glimpse of her revolutionary battle with an army of girls.

The singer will join a host of stars including Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, and Irish rockers The Script.
It is Beyonce’s first Irish date since 2009, when she performed in Dublin and at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
The festival will take place at Punchestown race course from 7 until 10 July.
Beyonce is also scheduled to appear at this year’s Glastonbury festival, on 26 June, and will play at Scotland’s T in the Park on 9 July.
The Texas native, whose husband Jay-Z was the first hip-hop artist to headline Glastonbury when he played the 2008 festival, shot to fame in girl group Destiny’s Child.
With over 75 million albums sold worldwide as a solo artist, she is now recognised as one of the best selling musicians of all time.
Over the past decade, Beyonce has had more top five hit singles, and clocked up more cumulative time at number one, than any other female artist.
Her fourth solo album is due out this summer, and fans across the UK and Ireland will be amongst the first to hear her new material performed live.
John Probyn, Oxegen’s festival director, said: “We’re always striving to bring the biggest and best music talent to Oxegen and they really don’t come any bigger than Beyonce.
“She is a truly incredible artist and an amazing live performer. This year we’ve got most of the artists headlining the UK’s major festivals on one bill.
“It’s all about giving fans real value for money and delivering an unforgettable experience.”
Tickets for Oxegen 2011 are on sale now from €99.50 (£89).

Beyonce is being sued by software developer Gate Five for allegedly pulling out of a deal to create Starpower: Beyonce, a motion sensing dance video game.
The company is seeking more than $100 million (£61 million) in damages for what New York Magazine is reporting was, according to the company, a “bad faith breach of contract so callous that, on what appeared to be a whim, she destroyed Gate Five’s business and drove 70 people into unemployment the week before Christmas.”
A company chief added that Beyonce “had already negotiated lavish compensation terms to which was contractually bound” but made an “extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms” at a pivotal moment in the development of the game.
They also claimed that the singer’s actions were deemed so unscrupulous that they were renounced by her father and former manager, Matthew Knowles.
Beyonce is yet to comment on the matter.

Beyonce Knowles has signed on to be part of Michelle Obama’s “Move Your Body” campaign. The effort is an anti-obesity campaign for youngsters and has Beyonce changing one of her popular songs to help with the promotion. Bey lending her creative efforts as an R&B star to Michelle Obama’s health and wellness campaign.
Beyonce has altered the words to her hit song “Get Me Bodied” so it will apply more to young people getting up and moving around. The song will now be called “Move Your Body” and features the song lyrics, “Don’t just stand there on the wall, everybody just move your body, move your body, move your body.”
“Get Me Bodied” is an upbeat song that should definitely get people moving, and now it has much more relevant lyrics. The video seen below features Beyonce and other girls dancing at the club. It’s likely a new video may be unleashed to support the new song “Move Your Body.”

Beyonce will be back sooner than you think. Reportedly, the singer, who recently split with her father Matthew Knowles as her manager, will be releasing a new album this June. Last week, she was spotted in what has been called either a photo or video shoot for the new project (picture above), and has been seen in the studio with a few producers, so you know the new material is coming soon.
According to a Sony music executive, Beyonce’s new music is “groundbreaking.” Dennis Handlin, who has listened to 6 songs from the album, said, “It was just amazing. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record… these songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she’s gone to another level.”

Word on the street is that Reggae star Sean Paul is writing a biography, and he admits he dated Beyonce when she was taking a break from Jay-Z.
The insider explained, “Jay-Z was very jealous . . . to this day he has a problem with [Sean Paul].”
Could this be the reason why Jay-Z prevented Sean Paul from performing “Baby Boy” with Beyonce at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. Jay-Z wanted to be the only performer to share the stage with Beyonce who was his girlfriend at the time.

Beyonce will no longer be managed by her father, Mathew Knowles.
Beyonce’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, said the Grammy-winning singer and her father have parted ways “on a business level”.
Knowles has managed his daughter since she debuted as a teen in the multi-platinum-selling group Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s and throughout her superstar career as a solo artist.
Beyonce said she is grateful for the role her father has had in her career.
She added that “he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly”.
Beyonce graces the cover of the April 2011 issue of British Cosmopolitan and dishes on what makes her feel sexy, and reveals her body issues:
On feeling sexy: Put on good music and something that makes you feel great. I love a pair of high, sexy stilettos with a beautiful dress…Never be predictabe. Mix it up. Surprise him. Change your hair. Be the woman he knows with a little bit of a twist.
On staying fit: I love my butter pecan ice cream but I also love to work out. We all have our issues. Mine is arms and legs, keeping them tight and toned. It takes work, believe me.
