Chris Brown to release collectible toys line

Controversial R&B star Chris Brown appears to be a big kid at heart.
The 22-year-old has teamed up with new business partner and artist Ron English to release a new line of toys, according to Billboard.
The duo’s exclusive collection of limited-edition toys and original art sculptures – which they’re selling through a company they’ve dubbed Dum English – will go on sale in Los Angeles on May 2.
The venture is an extension of Brown’s MechanicalDummy blog/lifestyle site which showcases his personal street art as well as the art of other up-and-comers.
And there appear to be price points for everyone: A toy necklace reportedly retails for $75, while a life-size fiberglass sculpture costs $20,000.
But hurry – there are reportedly only 1,000 pieces available in the limited-edition toy series, and 20 pieces of the fiberglass sculpture.
Brown, who’s said to be wrapping up work on his fifth studio album, “Fortune,” commended English’s artistic vision in a statement: “Ron has to be the most creative, ‘out there’ artist. His works is so precise but at the same time so unorthodox.”
