Evelyn Lozada says shes waiting on GOD

Lozada,37, has been vocal about her growing Christian faith recently and made headlines after ex-husband Chad Johnson physically assaulted her last August one month after they were married.

Still, the reality television star recently opened up to Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

“I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family,” Lozada told Celebuzz recently. “Only this time, instead of me choosing, I’m going to allow God to choose whomever for me.”

The reality star and author spoke about what she is looking for in her future husband.

“I just want a good guy. A family man who wants kids,” Lozada told Celebuzz.. “I don’t want five kids, but one or twins would be great.”

Still, Lozada admitted that it may be too soon to think about marriage seven months after marrying him.

“I’m starting to get to a place where I entertain the idea,” Lozada told Celebuzz. “I still think it’s too soon, but I’m open to it.”

The “Basketball Wives” star did not seem to be upset that she was without a husband on Valentine’s Day, and tweeted about having God’s clarity.

“Happy Valentines Day My Loves. Self-love is the most important type of love and it feels soo good,” Lozada tweeted. “It’s better to be single than in the wrong relationship. Thank God for clarity.”

The reality star spoke about healing from her broken relationship with Johnson on her personal blog last year.

“This is a normal and realistic process for anyone and I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I know God holds it and I’m taking things one day at a time. I appreciate the love from so many of you and right now I’m still working on becoming a better person,” Lozada said on her personal blog. “Chad and I are attending therapy separately, meeting with a Life Coach and trying to figure out how to work on our individual selves and navigate through this entire ordeal.”

@EvelynLozada: I Want No-Contact Order With Chad @ochocinco To End

Evelyn Lozada wants her no-contact order against Chad Johnson to expire, TMZ reports.

The ex-NFL star and former husband to Lozada is on track to finish his batterer’s intervention program in a few months. Johnson is expected to ask the judge to end his probation and end the no-contact order against him during this time.

If the judge grants him these requests, Lozada will have to file for a civil restraining order against him. But TMZ reports that she has no interest in doing so because she wants to “move on.”

Johnson pleaded “no contest” to domestic battery following his Aug. 11 fight with Lozada. He was sentenced to a year of probation and the batterer’s class as part of the plea.

Despite Lozada’s desire to end the no-contact order, she has no desire to get back with Johnson.

It is too bad that Chad and Evelyn’s marriage ended so quickly–and violently. But, do you feel Chad can learn from his mistakes and become a better husband to a different woman?

Evelyn Lozada Filed For Divorce After Hearing About Spinoff Cancellation

To those of you already heartbroken about the marriage between Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnsongoing straight to hell at light speed following him allegedly head butting her, take a deep breath before reading this story.

The couple was previously accused of having a false union fixated on boosting each of their respective fame. Needless to say, a gossip story that claims Evelyn decided to end her marriage to Chad after she found out their reality show was cancelled will only boost that cynicism. Y’all need to quit.

Or not. Whatever floats your boat.

In the meantime, here’s what the Chicago Sun-Times claims:

According to a source close to Lozada, she phoned her attorney to file for divorce immediately after getting the word VH1 had jettisoned her new show.

“She was really pissed. … Evelyn is all about fame and self-promotion, and once she realized that marriage [to Johnson] wasn’t working to help that — she was out. … She’s tough and could handle the abuse, though most of it with Chad was verbal. But she can’t stand the chance of not being in the public eye anymore.”

This is a little unfair. She’s still on Basketball Wives, and even though her unfortunate alleged attack has stopped her spinoff from happening, she will get a bunch of press outside of the show that first made her famous. Evelyn is a smart cookie. Once she heals, the PR machine will get its roll on (word to the Big Tymers).

Chad OchoCinco And Evelyn Lozada Wed

After a very long engagement with former NBA player Antoine Walker, Evelyn Lozada has finally found a baller to really put a ring on it.

“Basketball Wife” Evelyn Lozada, 36, wed boyfriend NFL star Chad Ochocinco, 34, this past Independence Day in Miami after nearly a two year relationship. Guests included friends, family, and of course celebrity pals.
Reportedly, the nuptials will be aired this fall on their new reality show “Eve and Ocho.”

Ochocinco offered the inside scoop to his 3.5 million Twitter followers throughout his big day, including tweeting a photo of the couple’s wedding rings after the ceremony.

He jokingly tweeted at one point,”How many times is Eve gonna change outfits… Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?”

Lozada can officially swap “football” into her wife title.

“Basketball Wives” Reunion Pt 1: Tami Tells Evelyn “I Slept With Ochocinco”

If you were expecting to see drama on last night’s “Basketball Wives” reunion show, join the club!! Considering the drama that went down on the season finale, this reunion was quite a disappointment.

After going back and forth about whether Evelyn knew or didn’t know that Kenny Anderson was engaged to Tami, Tami dropped a bomb by telling Evelyn she f****d Ochocinco, (the look on Evelyn’s face was priceless) but Tami quickly recanted her statement and said she was just messing with Evelyn. Considering how good Tami looked last night, Evelyn better be careful!!

Royce got on our nerves as she does every week, she just needs to sit her ass down.

Jennifer needs to either divorce her husband or try to make it work…she’s definitely battling with her feelings.

Shaunie sits around and acts like her sh*t don’t stink…can’t wait for Gloria to stick it to her once again tonight.

The ladies looked like they did not want to be there at all, no energy in the room…Let’s hope tonight’s episode is worth the wait!

“Basketball Wives” Evelyn Lozada Slept With Tami Roman’s Ex-Husband!

In the season finale of “Basketball Wives,” fists were flying when Tami found out Evelyn hooked up with her ex-husband Kenny Anderson while they were married. If you missed it, Tami poured her heart out to the ladies, telling them how grateful she was to have them in her life. She hadn’t been in a circle of that caliber since she was divorced, and she even thanked Evelyn for inspiring her to get back on her grind and said she reminded her of herself in her younger years.

Tami then leaves the room for a cigarette break, and Evelyn reveals her secret to Shaunie (which if you ask us, that is one secret she should’ve taken to the grave) and why would you tell Shaunie, who we all know is Tami’s girl??? Tami goes ballistic and Evelyn ended up telling her “you were a non-motherfucking factor bitch” Shots definitely fired!! Punches thrown!!
