JENNIFER HUDSON Throws rocks at BEYONCE & RIHANNA

Jennifer Hudson has the voice, has an amazing career (an Oscar on her belt) and now she’s got the body. Jennifer Hudson teamed up with Weight Watchers and went down from a size 18 to an 8. (Job well done!) Though the star looks extremely amazing nowadays he told The Daily Mirror that she does not plan on showing off her body for any magazine spreads. She wants to keep it classy!

Jennifer definitely was talking about how content she is with her new body but she made an interesting comment that may have stirred some pots.

I love my new figure. All the fabulous clothes I can wear and get sent, I joke that I’m like a walking billboard now. But I won’t be taking my clothes off – no way at all. Beyonce and Rihanna can have that. I like to cover up more. I won’t do Playboy. Playboy can call, and wait. That’s just not me.

Whoa! Was that shot to her competition? Is her new confidence a bit much? Later on in the interview, she revealed that her plan for weight loss started when she was pregnant and people have mistaken her baby bump to be just a part of her shape. Ouch! She definitely did something about it.

After the comment was made, obviously people were inquisitive about her intentions behind the statement. On Friday, she tried to clear the air by tweeting: “I think [y'all] know me better than that. I love both Beyonce [and] Rihanna. I hate when people try to be messy. [Bey] and Ri know me better than that 2.”

I don’t know if that tweet saved her, but Jennifer definitely had an Effie moment.

Jennifer Hudson Talks Tragedy And Joy On 20/20

The newest album from Jennifer Hudson, I Remember Me, will be in stores this coming Tuesday, March 22. The new mom had an interview with Deborah Roberts for a segment on 20/20 and she talked about the upcoming album, her start in music (including her American Idol days), getting the role of Effie in Dreamgirls, losing weight, her son and fiance, and so much more.

Despite the painful personal tragedies she has endured, Jennifer said, “I have the greatest sadness to be sad over, but then look at the joy that I have too.”

Beyonce is the cover girl for the anniversary issue of L’Officiel Paris magazine. In the pages and on the cover, she channels an African queen and shows a voluntarily darkened face. More details on the spread:

The Fashion magazine is about to celebrate its 90th birthday. To celebrate this anniversary, the festivities start with the March issue, with Beyoncé on the cover. She agreed to pose for an incredible fashion shoot, with the theme of African Queen, paying a tribute to the legendary Fela Kuti (a political singer who died in 1997). Far from the glamorous Sasha Fierce, the beauty posed for the magazine with amazing fashion designers clothes, but also in a dress created by her mother. A return to her African roots, as you can see on the picture, on which her face was voluntarily darkened.

And Jennifer Hudson recently shot the video for her current single “Where You At.” The visual was directed by Anthony Mandler, the photographer who shot her I Remember Me album cover image.

Rounding things out is Chris Brown with his new promotional pictures. The singer is gearing up for the release of his fourth album, F.A.M.E., due this March. He recently filmed the video for one of his singles “Look At Me Now” with Lil’ Wayne and Busta Rhymes.

J.Hud Goes Home To Chicago To Shoot “Where You At” Video

Jennifer Hudson returned home to Chicago to shoot the video for her latest single, “Where You At,” the first off her sophomore album, I Remember Me. In it, she fights the cold winter weather by seeking warmth in a shabby building and chunky knit sweater.

Dressed in a lacy lingerie-type top, she looks as if she’s about to confront her disappearing boyfriend.

The video was directed by Rihanna’s longtime video director, Anthony Mandler.

It will premiere on February 24 on VEVO.

Jennifer Hudson Hosts Toy Drive In Honor Of Late Nephew

Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson hosted a holiday toy drive at Chicago’s Navy Pier on Wednesday in honor of Julian King, her 7-year-old nephew who was tragically murdered with her mother and brother in October 2008.
