K. Michelle Will Fight Memphitz’s Lawsuit

Despite a new multi-million dollar lawsuit filed by Memphitz, K. Michelle doesn’t seem very concerned about possibly having to suffer consequences for alleging that the producer physically abused her. The Memphis-born singer and star of Love & Hip Hop: Atlantais standing behind her story, and according to TMZ, has sought representation to fight the suit.

In a statement, K. Michelle told the site:

“I¹ve always been told that the truth shall set you free. I stand behind my story 100%. I came on the ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ show mainly because I wanted to give a voice and bring light to a very serious issue.

“I am very grateful to VH1 and Monami Ent. for the opportunity to tell my story, and touch lives worldwide … I look forward to having my day in court and finally having the truth of my story confirmed in a court of law.

Hopefully others will not have to go through this and then have their stories challenged to this degree because people now want to try to salvage whatever reputation they may have had.”

@kmichelle Stars In Domestic Violence PSA

K.Michelle an alleged victim of domestic violence herself, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” is using her story as a platform to encourage other women to get out of toxic relationships in a campaign called “Saving Our Daughters.”

Michelle, who says she was beat by her ex-boyfriend Memphitz, recently went on a Twitter rant about his wife Toya Wright.

Toya denies the allegations made against her husband, but K. Michelle reckons that she wasn’t even in the picture at the time.

Despite the bitter feud between the ladies, K. Michelle’s graphic PSA is an attempt to help the abuse problem some women often endure by the hands of the men they love.

The beef between “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star, K. Michelle, and Toya Wright is still brewing beneath the surface. The drama stems from Michelle’s previous and unresolved issues during her relationship with Memphitz, who is currently married to Toya.

Despite Michelle’s adamant claims that he beat her a**, he denies ever putting his hands on the blossoming songstress. Toya came to his defense of her husband, causing a rift between herself and K. Michelle who, last night, said for the reality star to “shut the f**k up!”

K. Michelle Makes More Accusations About Memphitz

K. Michelle is popping back at Memphitz after he denied ever physically abusing her. The singer and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star called into V-103 to make additional claims:

“This situation, if anybody has followed me, I’m not a new artist. For the past three years I have spoken out against it. I didn’t get on tv to try to hurt him or try to hurt his situation. I never even said his name on TV. For three years I have been a advocate for domestic violence.” 

 “I havn’t even been out of my record deal over a year…and the only way I got out…I didn’t get dropped…the only way I got out of that deal…I owed $2 million dollars…the only way I got out of that deal…I had to get a lawyer and I had to give them all the text messages and everything. They [the label] already knew what the situation was. But I fought and fought to get out. I own my publishing and everything right now because of the text messages that he sent.

 He threatened to kill my child if I did not stop running my mouth.”

 “I’m not looking for no help from the world…but I’m not going to be quiet. He can slander my name and do whatever he wants to do, but I’m going to tell my story and I don’t care who don’t like it.”

Memphitz Puts K. Michelle On Blasts

Memphitz Blasts K. Michelle For Lying On HimThe backlash for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta has been swift and strong.

After people started an online petition to have the show pulled from the air, cast member K. Michelle is being blasted by her ex-boyfriend Memphitz for how she portrayed him on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. During the first episode, K. Michelle talked to rapper Rasheeda about her experience as a Jive Records artist. Though she never mentioned Memphitz by name, K. Michelle did say the former A&R man squandered her $2 million recording budget by buying himself jewelry and other material things.

When viewers started asking who K. Michelle was talking about on the show, she went on TT Torrez’ radio show and confirmed she was talking about Memphitz. Memphitz’ new wife, Toya Carter, called K. Michelle a liar while Memphitz had yet to respond. He finally responded by tweeting, “As I was installing the Teeth, Titties, & Ass you’re Flaunting, I forgot to tell you about the Growing Nose.” With the tweet, he posted a picture of Pinocchio.

Though Memphitz has the right to defend himself, that was just a tad disrespectful. K. Michelle is known for not shying away from a little heat, so she tweeted, “A persons true colors will always show. Never fight a battle that God already won for u. I’m still standing.” Since neither one of them directly tweeted each other, it’s safe to say this isn’t going to escalate any further than it already has. That is, unless K. Michelle reveals more about her botched record deal with Jive Records.

Who Is K. Michelle’s Baby Daddy & 9 Other Tid Bits!

Who is K. Michelle? She is a mother, established artist and from the clear looks of it–an ATL diva! She made her first appearance on the debut episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” ast night, and already –people can’t stop talking about her.

Her body is sick and but her vocals are her strongest feature! Here’s 10 facts about the buxom beauty:

9. K. Michelle’s real name is Kimberly Michelle Pate.
