Kelly Rowland responds back to Keyshia cole about beyonce comments

Kelly Rowland recently tweeted a message that some of her fans viewed as her defending fellow Destiny’s Child member Beyonce Knowles. Fellow singer Keyshia Cole recently criticized Knowles on Twitter because of song lyrics she didn’t like.
Knowles, 31, recently released her new song titled “Bow Down/I Been On” that has upset the likes of fellow singer Cole, who does not agree with the former’s reference to women. After Cole let her Twitter followers know that she did not agree with Knowles’ message, Rowland tweeted a message about haters.
“The hating that women do with each other- it’s going to kill us as a race of people,” Rowland tweeted, quoting singing legend Chaka Khan in the process.
Rowland’s message came shortly after Cole criticized Knowles’ use of profane lyrics to refer to women in her latest release. The song was filled with more expletives than the singer’s fans are used to hearing from the Houston, Texas native.
“I took my time to live my life but don’t think I’m just his little wife / Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted / This is my s—,” Knowles sings.
The chorus of the song follows up with the singer spouting expletives at her critics.

“Bow down, b——,” Knowles sings repeatedly.
Cole took to her Twitter to speak out about her peer’s lyrics after the song was released on Sunday.
“First ‘women need to stick together’ now b—— bow. Smh,” Cole tweeted. “But when I speak my mind its a prob. #Well #StayMad…Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good.”
Cole has been vocal about her feelings toward both Knowles and her Destiny’s Child singing group members in the past. She spoke out against Michelle Williams last February after watching her perform alongside Destiny’s Child group members Rowland and Knowles at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
“I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michelle sung and woke my a– up from my daze,” Cole exclaimed to over 200,000 followers on the social networking website. “She’s always f—— the groove up.”
Although Cole managed to give Knowles credit for her portion of the performance, a number of people sounded off on the singer for critiquing Williams. Rowland, 32, defended her group member against Cole in a more candid manner.
“It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about,” Rowland told RollingStone.com. “I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts … we matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said.”
