T.O. SET TO SIGN A 75 MILLION DOLLAR RECORD DEAL!

January 18th, 2013 | By love not hate

T.I.

Got $75 million handy? If so, you can sign T.I. to your label … the hip hop star just became the number-one free agent in rap — and despite the steep price tag he’s putting out … some deep pockets are already lining up.

Sources close to T.I. tell TMZ … T.I.’s 10-year contract with Atlantic ran up only a month ago … but he’s already put together his own idea of a $75 million deal:

- 3 albums
- 10-20 percent of publishing, touring, merchandise, film and TV rights
- Corporate endorsement deals
- Exclusive signing of all Grand Hustle artists

Sources close to T.I. tell TMZ … he’s already met with some of the industry’s biggest names … including Dr. Dre, who asked him to join Interscope over dinner at Katana recently (see picture) … and Jay-Z, who wants T.I. in the RocNation family.

We’re told Sony’s put a $50 million deal on the table so far … and Universal’s meeting with him later this week to make an offer too.

All in all, not a bad group to have knocking at your door …

LET T.I. GO DAMMIT!

September 9th, 2011 | By love not hate

GONE BACK TO JAIL, Boy I tell ya them fed’s sho’ll know how to put you on a roller coaster don shipped the man back to jail just cause he was talking about making some legal money!!!! It appears that T.I. getting put back into jail was not because of his tricked out bus, as his lawyers claimed, but because prison officials found out that his manager and a VH1 producer on board the bus to talk business! According to Bureau of Prisons documents obtained by CNN,

“such people were not authorized to travel with him in the conditions of his furlough. [T.I.] further indicated he was discussing a new reality series and a book with those individuals.”

Because T.I. broke the rules of his probation, in which he was to stay in a halfway house until the last day of his sentence on September 29, he will stay in a federal penitentiary until that date. Lawyer Steve Sadow still say that the feds are wrong and that “no business was conducted on the bus,” and goes on to say that even those accusations aren’t a violation,

“The provision itself speaks in terms of conducting a business or conducting or directing an investment transaction. The purpose of that provision is not so that people can’t talk about their business, it’s so that you don’t run a business while you’re in the Bureau of Prisons.”

T.I’s Final Letter Before Being Released from Prison Next Month

August 16th, 2011 | By love not hate

With T.I. coming home from prison next month, he has written his last letter to fans while finishing his sentence. Check out the message the “King” posted on his website:

What up world? This will be my last message from Forrest City. Just reaching out and sending my love, respect and appreciation to all who have been ridin’ with me throughout this chapter in my life and not just recently but since all the things started happening one after another back in ’06. From Big Phil’s murder to my beautiful little angel Leiah being called home to heaven, to my arrest in ’07, the 1st prison sentence in ’09, to this last journey that I’m nearing the end of. A lot of people who are aware of all that has happened to me in my life say that there aren’t many men who could have endured and withstood so much pain, pressure and turmoil while managing to remain sane and keep their wits about them. I must say that I wouldn’t have been able to do so without God’s grace and having a strong support system behind me every step of the way. So often we spend time acknowledging the presence of “haters” and all the negativity they send our way but we don’t take the time to acknowledge and appreciate all the ones who love and support us and supply us with the positive energy we need to overcome. We complain about the pain so much that we don’t even notice how much stronger, wiser and better of a person the suffering has allowed us to become. I heard Pac say once “To live is to suffer and to survive is to find meaning in that suffering.” I later found out it came from an author by the name of Friedrich Nietzsche. When I heard Pac say that it was just some hard shit to hear your favorite rapper say before he kicked a verse. Now that I’ve gone through it and grown from it those words have a real true meaning to me. I know this won’t be my last battle with adversity but it has truly prepared me for whatever else may come in the future. For that also I’m thankful. Now it goes without saying that I hate I had to come back to prison for these 10 months but I am truly grateful for the knowledge, growth and understanding I’ve received from the experience.

Next time you hear from me I’ll be back out there with you. Doing for those who can’t do for themselves and speaking for those whose voices are never heard. When I touch down, I’m going all the way back to square one, like I’m fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I’M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK shit… But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it. I’ll be back at you in a minute.

- KING

Rapper: T.I Buys $5000 Shoes While He’s Still In Prison

August 11th, 2011 | By love not hate

Rapper T.I. will be getting released September 29th and he’s preparing for his return. One way he’s preparing to make a come back is by buying $5,000 shoes. Rapper Young Dro told Allhiphop.com in an interview that,

“Tip was on the phone the other day, and he on his way home. Tip on the phone ordering shoes and s**t. I might email him a catalog from time to time and he sends it right back with the stuff he wants,” Dro said laughing.  “He’s ordering $5,000 shoes on the phone. He’s doing the Internet thing. We shoot him an email and he can see the catalog and we be ordering out the catalog all day. He’s getting handkerchiefs and s**t.”

Wow. T.I.’s showing that he’s still the King whether he’s behind bars or not. I know my girl Tiny is gonna be so happy when he gets out. What ya’ll think about T.I. living it up buying $5,000 shoes and what not behind bars? Are you ready for T.I.’s return?

I GOT BEAT: T.I. And Tiny Caught “In The Act” During Visiting Hours

January 6th, 2011 | By love not hate

Rapper T.I. is even more trouble for getting beat…and we’re talking about his genitals…while in prison. Why? Because the incident happened during visiting hours and the “beater” was his wife Tiny! Deets inside…

During a trip to the Arkansas State Prison last weekend, T.I. wife’s Tiny obviously couldn’t resist the site of her hubby in a hot orange jumpsuit. In the middle of the visiting room, during regular hours, Tiny took T.I. in the palm of her hands and literally went to work.

According to prison guidelines, inmates are allowed to kiss and embrace at the beginning and at the end of a visit as well as hold hands…but it stops there. And “the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times.” But I guess now they have to add “inmate’s partner’s hands” to that statement.

Tiny told TMZ that T.I.P. was immediately reprimanded and sent to a “Special Housing Unit” which ha more security and less freedom. She says she’s hopeful she’ll be allowed to visit again soon…after he gets off…of punishment.

Look ma…no hands!
