Game Calls Off His Wedding!

July 20th, 2012 | By

Love didn’t pan out for the Game, this time around. 40 Glocc’s arch nemesis  has called off his wedding to longtime love, Tiffney Cambridge, and after a full day of a rumored split Game took to Twitter to confirm the news. While he didn’t exactly explain what went wrong, the 32-year-old is taking on all of the blame.  “The rumors are TRUE,” he wrote. “The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine ! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.”

Game proposed last year by surprising Cambridge, who works as a teacher, at her job. He got down on one knee as her co-workers and a camera crew all waited for  her response. “Oh, yes, Jayceon,” she said after the rapper popped the question.

“As a man, this is that day you throw your player card away and step up and be a family man,” he said. “She deserves this. It’s been a long run. It’s been seven years. We had good times and bad times. At the end of the day, as a man, this is something that I owe to her and I owe to my family.”

Although it appears that the happiness displayed on the engagement video is a thing of the past, they will remain in each other’s lives since they share two children. The twosome were also said to be starring in a new reality show.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Game has ended an engagement. He split from his previous fiancé,Valiesha Butterfield, in 2006.

Rapper Game Falls HARD After Getting Crossed Over!!!
No matter if you are a basketball fan or not, anybody can appreciate a good crossover.
Crossovers are even better when the other player sticks it so good that the opposing player falls.
The other day, rapper Game was the unlucky player.

The Game say he knows alot of GAY RAPPERS in the INDUSTRY!

September 6th, 2011 | By love not hate

For as long as there has been rap, there has been rumors of gay rappers. While speculation regarding the sexuality of some of hip hop most famous artists are always under question, rapper The Game recently did an interview with VladTV where he stated that he doesn’t have a problem with gay people; his issue, however, lies with closeted gays.

“I think there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay, and see those are the type of gay people that, the only type of gay people that I have a problem with. I don’t have a problem with gay people. Like, Beyonce should’ve said, ‘Who run the world? Gays,’ because they’re everywhere.”

“Be gay, you can do that. Game don’t have a problem with gay people. Game has a problem with people that are pretending not to be gay and are gay because the number one issue with that is that you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die and so that in the closet s— is real scary.”

“So, we’ve got to get into the real seriousness of it and it’s just not fair to other people. It’s not cool to be rapper so If you gay, just say you gay. Be gay and be proud.”

The Game caught some heat earlier this year after he tweeted:

“Never ONCE said i had a problem wit gay people. Yall straight, well maybe not STRAIGHT but u know what the f— I mean ha ha. Be as GAY as you wanna be, just stay on yo side of the street…. but I’M a “P—Y” man FO LIIIIIFE (Mak-10 voice).”

Back in 2009, rapper N.O.R.E. did an interview with VladTV where he confirmed that there are indeed mainstream, highly successful gay rappers out there that he’s worked with, but you won’t catch him naming names:

“I have recorded, not with people who are openly gay, but people who are closet gays. I’ve got songs, you know, Google it. I’m positive I have worked with a gay rapper. There is [a successful gay rapper out now] and he won’t get me to say the name. Once he’s a success story to the point where he can’t be stopped, then yeah, he’s gonna come out the closet… It’s not a big secret, everybody is gonna be like, ‘Oh yeah, I knew that.’”

Felicia Pearson, an openly gay actress who starred in the hit series ‘The Wire,’ also said that there are more gay people in the industry than people think:

“I can’t give nobody’s names out man, I might f–k their career up man. It’s the whole f–king industry for real — I wouldn’t ever do that to them like, ‘Yo, he gay and all that,’ even if I’m mad at you. I’m not no hater. When you ready, you ready. Me, I’m living my life baby. [It shocks me,] I be like ‘Wow.’ I be like ‘I knew it, but just yeah,’ and they be like ‘Yeah, come on.’”

This is definitely not surprising but the Hip Hop community is still very much homophobic. Even though we’ve come a long way when it comes to accepting the LGBT community over the last few years, it would still be very hard for a successful rapper to come out of the closet.

Check out Game’s interview and what he had to say about ‘man fans’ in Hip Hop as well as Hot 97′s ‘Mr. Cee’ below:

Rapper: The Game Twitter Account Gets Hacked!

August 16th, 2011 | By love not hate

So it seems somebody in The Game’s camp has been playing games with the police. Friday night, someone posted a tweet from The Games account advertising an internship he was offering and to call a number. Turns out the number was the Compton Sheriff’s station! The phone traffic basically shut down the stations phones, making it harder for the police to do their job. The police were delayed reacting to calls about a missing person, a spousal assault, two robberies and a stolen car.

The Game responded saying that his account was hacked and he apologized. He also said that two much was being made out of it and that the police should keep their focus on catching real criminals. The Game later tweeted the blame:

What do you think about the situation? I’d hate to have been the spouse getting the life beat out of them…or the driver who came to find their car missing…

The Game: Corvette repossessed

April 5th, 2011 | By love not hate

The Game was surrounded by a bunch of BADASS cars in Hollywood yesterday … but not one of the rides was his tricked out Corvette … because that whip was repossessed a few days ago … TMZ has learned.

Game tells TMZ he leased the Corvette roughly three years ago … but he was on tour when the lease expired and was unable to return it.

But a few days ago, after Game returned home, repo men came to the house and took the car away. Sources connected to the situation tell us Game was home at the time and was “cooperative” during the hand-off.

Game doesn’t seem too bothered by the situation … telling us, “I got SO many whips!”
