Toni Braxton To Star In Lifetime Movie

After a long hiatus from music and acting, due to health reasons, Toni Braxton is making a return to the small screen.

The award winning singer/actress is set to star in a television movie for the Lifetime network. Braxton will be returning to the screen with a lot of family support. Her youngest son Diezel will be acting opposite his mom in he film. Toni Braxton shared the exciting news on her Twitter page first. Braxton tweeted, “I will be filming for a new moviefor Lifetime and Diezel will be in it as well, playing the role of my son!”

As expected, as soon as Toni tweeted the movie news, she was bombarded with questions about the film project. Braxton put a stop to all the inquiries with a follow-up tweet. “That’s all I can say for now.”

Toni Braxton to Star on “Chicago” Musical

Rumors have been flying around that the lovely Toni Braxton may be joining the cast of the hit musical Chicago. Chicago will become the longest running musical in Broadway history at the end of the month. Let’s hope she gets it. She’s also starred in Beauty and the Beast and Aida.

Toni is also still considering the semi-nude photo shoot for playboy. I say what the hell, go for it, you’ve been on the cover of everything – from Vibe to Upscale.

In another Toni news, her bankruptcy was approved and she’ll be able to keep her Grammy Awards, Tiffany Jewelry and the ’95 Porsche.

Toni Braxton Reality Show “Braxton Family Values”

During a press conference for her upcoming show “Braxton Family Values” Toni Braxton shed light on her reported health and financial issues.  Late last year Braxton revealed that she was coping with a life-threatening illness.  She also filed for bankruptcy twice.

“When I filed for bankruptcy, I was like ‘I can’t do it, I don’t wanna be on the show, I can’t put my life out there’ but my sisters told me you have to tell your story because no one knows what really happened…Everyone knows I have heart issues, but no one knows why I have heart issues….”
